Happy birthday to Tom Felton, my favorite "Harry Potter" star, and one of my favorite people in general. (Honestly, he is THE sweetest of sweet guys. He made me tea once!)
The lovable Englishman is 24 years old today, and coming off a big year career-wise. There's the history-making success of "Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, Part 2," the well-received "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," and his Best Villain and Choice Villain award wins at our MTV Movie Awards and the Teen Choice Awards.
Here at Hollywood Crush, we want nothing more than for him to have another great year, so here are our three birthday wishes for favorite Tom Felton:
1. Continued career success
Anytime Tom's name is announced as part of an upcoming film project, I'm happy. He's got several buzzworthy films in the can, including "Apparition" and "From the Rough," through which I'm hoping we'll get to see more of his acting range. I'd also love to see him land a comedy or rom-com, even. Remember his cute cameo in "Get Him to the Greek" and his hilarious attempts at "American Talk"? The man is funny! Get him into a movie or two where he doesn't have to be Malfoy-style mean or intense.
2. Make more music!
If you have yet to check out Tom's musical stylings, do yourself a favor and head over to Six String Productions now, where you can hear a few samples of his work. Tom has said he hopes to record more music in the future but that work has gotten in the way.
3. Keep the Tom and Rupert bromance alive
Nothing delighted me more than seeing Rupert Grint show up to the "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" premiere, literally wearing his support for his buddy on his shirt. Tom's reaction to Rupert's T-shirt, and the admission of their bromance that followed, was even better. And just this week we got a look at them clowning around together again, this time in a Polaroid-produced campaign for the clothing line Band of Outsiders. Could they be any cuter? Keep the love alive, boys!
