Phoebe TonkinClear your DVR queue and set your season pass, because this week marks the beginning of fall TV! We know, it's been way too long. Thankfully, in addition to all of our returning favorites (hello, "Vampire Diaries" and "Glee"), the networks are ushering in a slew of new shows we couldn't be more excited about, including The CW's magical "Secret Circle," which premieres this Thursday.

In anticipation of the witchy series, which stars Britt Robertson as an unassuming high school girl who discovers her mysterious powers, we hopped on the phone with co-star Phoebe Tonkin, who you'll get to know as mean girl Faye Chamberlain. We talked with the Aussie actress (who does a mean American accent) about her character's rule-breaking ways, potential love interests and all those comparisons to "The Vampire Diaries."

Gleeks rejoice!

Your favorite TV show is returning for its third season in a little over a week. (If you don’t have a picture of the Kurt/Blaine kiss pasted in the September 20 box of your calendar, then you need to rethink your priorities.)

There will be new characters to introduce—hello, 450 "Glee Project" winners!—and old favorites to write off—goodbye, Trouty Mouth and Lauren Zises!—but one thing will remain constant: my weekly musical Glee-caps!

To thank you all for welcoming my Glee-caps into the passionate fan community—and to get you jazzed for season three’s new recap songs—we’re offering a free download of the MTV News Glee-caps: Volume 2 soundtrack album!

That’s right! Now you can listen to your favorite Glee-cap tracks wherever, whenever! From the doo-wop ode to Holly Holliday to the brooding '80s synth pop jam lamenting Blaine’s Gap crush, from the Lyndsey Buckingham-inspired recap of "Glee"'s Fleetwood Mac episode to the most popular Glee-cap ever, "They Kissed (It Was Worth It!)," it’s all there, remixed and re-mastered for your earbuds. Oh, "Magic Mike." We haven't even met and, yet, we're already drooling in anticipation of your abtastic big screen debut in 2012. And now we're slobbering even more thanks to some small insights given by star Olivia Munn.

As you'll recall, the stripper flick—based loosely on Channing Tatum's own experiences—boasts a who's who of tasty Hollywood treats, including Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer and Matthew McConaughey. Plus, you know, there are some girls in the cast too, including Miss Munn.

When we caught up with the 31-year-old actress at the premiere of director Steven Soderbergh's other film, "Contagion," we wanted the scoop on her sexy role.

"I am a grad student and play Channing Tatum's love interest in the movie," she said. "It's actually great because it's a movie about strippers and I'm not a stripper in it."

The Carrie DiariesThe rumors are true: The CW is officially moving forward with "Sex and the City" prequel "The Carrie Diaries"!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage ("Gossip Girl") will produce, while "SATC" scribe Amy B. Harris will write and direct the TV series, based on Candace Bushnell's YA novel, which follows Carrie Bradshaw during her senior year of high school.

With two books in the series, and another two slated for publication, producers will no doubt have plenty of source material to work with.

We, for one, are cautiously optimistic about this would-be series (having a former "SATC" writer on staff certainly bodes well), but casting the right Carrie will be key. I mean, it's going to be hard to fill Carrie Bradshaw's well-worn Manolos. But we think there are a few actresses up for the task. Keep reading after the jump to see our picks for the future sex columnist!

True BloodHide yo kids, hide yo wife: It's a "True Blood" season finale, and—as suggested by that screamy Bon Temps depopulation teaser they've been showing all week—they killin' ERRBODY out here.

Ding, dong, the witch is dead
Jesus, distracted by guilt over aiding in the murder of his good pal Marnie, is a little too slow to realize that Lafayette has been possessed by her. Too bad! A grievous fork-to-hand injury could've been avoided if he'd just paid a little attention—as could the very, very sad thing that happens next. Because Marnie's in control, and she wants Jesus' brujo magic... ALL of it, she says, and this can't mean anything good. But Laf's life is at stake, and Jesus agrees to hand over his powers. Stock up on the Kleenexes now—you'll definitely need them come October 28. That's when Felicity Jones and Anton Yelchin will give your tear ducts a workout in the weepy romantic drama "Like Crazy."

The flick, directed by Drake Doremus, centers around Felicity's Anna and Anton's Jacob, two college kids in love who are abruptly torn apart when Anna overstays her visa and is deported back to her native England. The movie's been getting plenty of buzz since it debuted at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, where it won the big Grand Jury Prize. But if that's not enough to pique your interest, how about you take a look at the EXCLUSIVE still we procured for our Fall Movie Preview Week.

Because, really, it doesn't get cuter than this, does it? All together now: Awwww!

This summer, we've gone to Italy, the Hamptons and not-so deserted islands. We've been on the run from angel fanatics, werewolf hunters and misguided werewolves, gone into hiding to avoid rebel vampire factions, chased after rebel armies to retrieve our kidnapped twin, found ourselves impersonating our long-lost twin and discovered our ancestral talent for witchcraft. We've even traveled back in time to Victorian Manhattan, World War II and the very recent past.

Yep, as relaxing as the idea of a Summer Beach Read is, they've actually been kind of exhausting, if you think about it. Now that fall is approaching, and with it the kind of responsibilities that eat into our escapist reading habits, we're already looking back wistfully at the books we read this summer. Did you come along for the ride? Well, which was your favorite? Vote in our poll after the jump!

Lily Collinsby Lauren Kearney

Lily Collins is arguably one of the luckiest girls alive. Not only is she beyond gorgeous, the daughter of a famous singer (Phil Collins) and the on- and off-screen sweetheart of hottie Taylor Lautner, but girlfriend's career is on a major upward trajectory that we don't see slowing down anytime soon.

This month, the 22-year-old actress appears on the cover of Teen Vogue, fulfilling one of her life-long goals. "I don't know if this is too weird to say, but this is completely surreal for me. Bizarre,” she admitted to the magazine. “The cover of Teen Vogue has been on my bucket list forever." How cute is she? Inside the issue, Lily chats about her and Kristen Stewart's dueling "Snow White" films, a certain werewolf and her future in the industry.

As a glance at the latest red-carpet styles will tell you, the first couple weeks of September are a tricky time for dressing oneself. It's a strange time of year—too late for skimpy summer clothes, too early to break out the full-on Fall Looks, and with temperatures so fickle, something which seems perfectly comfortable in the A.M. can lead to crisis levels of Crotch Swamp by noon. And, for the celebrity ladies who walked the red carpet this week, it was a real hit-or-miss moment for putting an outfit together...as today's Style Superstar shows only too well! Which fashion "Warrior" took home the gold for conquering this style challenge? And who (color)blocked herself from a win this time around? Read on!

Although there's no edict against sporting bare shoulders after Labor Day, it can still be a tough look to pull off. But Jennifer Morrison, who showed up at the "Warrior" premiere in this gleaming gold party dress by Jacques Fath Haute Couture, has got perfect season-spanning style. Instead of trying to get away with a too-wispy summertime look, Jennifer went for a below-the-knee hemline and textured detailing that give the dress plenty of weight, and her champagne-colored close-toed pumps are fully on the side of fall. But the strapless silhouette and gleaming sheen? Pure Indian summer, and a perfect offset to her pretty blond hair. (Not that we need to tell Jennifer that; with that giant smile, we're pretty sure the girl knows she looks awesome.)

Lady GagaLady Gaga knows how to pick hot leading men. I mean, she did cast Alexander Skarsgård in her "Paparazzi" video. So when we spotted "Vampire Diaries" actor Taylor Kinney in her "Yoü and I" clip, we figured it was Mother Monster just living out our dreams of making out with hot guys.

But now comes word that she's living out our dreams in real life. Sources tell People that Gaga and Taylor have taken their on-screen love off-screen and are "hooking up" in real life.
