Quick! Which "Ides of March" star is more handsome: Ryan Gosling or George Clooney? Tough one, huh? It's a total "Sophie's Choice." But for one of the stars in question, the verdict wasn't so difficult to reach.
"No way. George Clooney's so handsome," Ryan told us while promoting the political drama, due Friday. "Come on."
To be honest, though, we're hardly surprised by The Gos' answer. After all, Ryan's always been the humble type. In fact, he recently told the Chicago Sun-Times that he thinks of himself as "weird-looking" and that he only just started getting more handsome roles.
Even after "The Notebook," "Drive" and "Ides of March," Ryan still has to give the win to George. "He's even more handsome in person," Ryan said. "And he doesn't wear makeup," something George is super-proud of, apparently.
Posed with the same question, Ryan's "Ides of March" co-star Paul Giamatti had to disagree. He told MTV News, without hesitation, that Ryan is more handsome—a declaration Ryan seemed to truly appreciate. "I love him. I love Paul. I effing love him," Ryan enthused. "He's the best."
