We didn't think it was possible, but the drama on ABC's "Revenge" is about to get kicked up a notch. And that's according to one of its lead hotties, Joshua Bowman, who plays Hamptons playboy Daniel Grayson.
How do we know all this? Well we asked him ourselves.
"Tyler, who's my roommate, has come to town and he is causing a stir; that’s for sure," one-time Hump Day Hottie Joshua told Hollywood Crush about this week's episode. "He's very conniving but also charming. It's gonna be very interesting. You should watch carefully for him and our relationship and his relationship with [protagonist] Emily. He's not there to mess around."
Emily (played by Emily VanCamp) and Daniel, of course, are in the beginning stages of their romantic relationship on the show. The catch, however, is that Emily is not who she says she is and has reinvented herself, moved to the Hamptons and is seeking revenge against the Graysons, who are responsible for her dad landing in prison. So, will any of this affect Dan and Em's relationship?
"There's a chemistry there that likes to bubble up. Daniel's not like his family, and he wants to be a good person, and he's met this beautiful woman that he's fallen head over heels in love with," he said. "It's difficult for her to continue to lie. In the end, she's not a bad person. It's difficult to side with one party. It's difficult, but I think she's going to have a tougher job than she thinks…but I have no idea."
What he does have an idea about is the fact that there's something else making their relationship a bit difficult: local townie Jack (played by Nick Wechsler), who totally has a thing for Em. "Of course, Mr. Porter. We'll see what happens there," he said of the childhood connection between Jack and Emily. "There's been lots of talk of different angles. They’ve definitely got some sort of connection. The triangle starts to come to life. The guy's got a boat and a dog and blue eyes and stubble…can't compete with that."
Well, by the way he describes his character on the show, we're gonna go ahead and say he can. "I see him as this John-John meets possibly Prince Harry cause he's kind of a bad boy, but he's also a gent," he explained. "I want him to be a little relatable to people."
We totally relate.
