TVLine is reporting that former "Glee" star Chord Overstreet is in talks to return to McKinley High before the end of the year and will stick around as a recurring cast member if all goes as planned.
Does this mean we're finally going to see the Sam-Mercedes hook-up that the end of season two promised? We'll have to wait and see until the eighth episode, according to TVLine.
This is a pretty surprising turnaround, considering how things went down when Chord left the show. If you don't remember, word leaked out early that producers weren't going to invite Chord back for the third season as a regular cast member, but offered him a smaller recurring role instead. Chord turned down the offer, deciding to focus on his music career instead.
