Christina Perri is a really big Twilighter. So, having her song, "A Thousand Years," on the "Breaking Dawn- Part 1" soundtrack, out November 10, is a pretty big deal for the singer. MTV News was on the set for Christina's just-released video, and while there, the 25-year-old opened up about showing her love for the saga in a completely different way: her "Twilight"-themed tattoo!
"It's right here [on my wrist]," she said. "So it says 'bitten,' and if you're a Twi-hard like me, you would know it's in the font of the books, and I basically got this tattoo right when I read the books and became totally obsessed with the series. It's my most dorky moment."

What's the only thing better than dressing up as "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" heroine Lisbeth Salander for Halloween?

Dressing up as Lisbeth Salander in real life! All the time! Until you are 95 percent positive that you are, in fact, a gorgeous goth-girl hacker with great style, no limits and a highly overdeveloped sense of vengeance—and which, you can accomplish shortly with a new line of lovely clothing created by the same uber-talented costume designer who styled the American remake of "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo".
That designer is Trish Summerville—who's best-known as the woman who turned pretty little Rooney Mara into a blood-drenched icon of bad-assery, and who collaborated with H&M to create a collection of accessible, affordable clothes based on the signature Salander style. (Think: lots of black, lots of leather, lots of strategic shredding.)

Boo! Did we scare you? No? Okay, well, maybe a fright-night feature will get your knees knocking. In anticipation of Halloween, we asked a slew of celebrities to suggest their favorite scary movies to get you in the mood for the ooky, spooky holiday.
You probably know today's guest blogger, Jessica Parker Kennedy, best as witch Melissa on The CW's "Secret Circle." Which flicks give Jessica the creeps? "The Orphanage" and "The Strangers"!
I love scary movies!!! My two favorites are pretty neck and neck, “The Orphanage” and “The Strangers.” I love “The Orphanage” because the concept is so cool and the story is told in such an interesting way. It's a movie that will scare your socks off, but make you cry at the end. It's one of the most tragic movies I've ever watched and is truly heartbreaking and scary at the same time. The film is also shot beautifully with amazing cinematography.

If you're a big fan of unlikely supernatural love affairs in which one party may or may not be technically alive, here's some good news for that long, agonizing lag between the release of the last two "Twilight" films: Summit Entertainment has spoken, and "Warm Bodies" (also known as that zombie-related romance that doesn't make Jane Austen roll in her grave), will hit theaters on August 10, 2012!
Isaac Marion's star-crossed story of a romance between a wandering zombie named "R" and the girl he saves from losing her brain to the bellies of the roving undead, "Warm Bodies" is like a beautiful marriage of "Romeo & Juliet" with "Night of the Living Dead"—love, life, and longing on one hand, and on the other... BRAAAAAAAAAAAAINS!

In the pantheon of sueprheroes, Superman has, admittedly, never been my favorite. I largely blame over-saturation ("Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman," "Smallville," "Superman Returns"), but there's also something I find very aesthetically unpleasing about the Man of Steel. For one, there's the black shellacked 'do that looks a bit like a Mallard caught in an oil spill. Then there's that garish blue suit that only succeeds in covering the much more visually appealing muscles underneath. And don't even get me started on the red panties. But even I have to concede that Henry Cavill is working very hard to change my mind...and is succeeding.
For the second time in a month, the hunky Brit was snapped shirtless on the set of 2013's "Man of Steel," and as my colleague Brian Phares pointed out, this is not your waxed-beyond-recognition, sanitized superhero. This is a hairy chested crime fighter who's not afraid to get a little (or a lot!) dirty. (Side note: We're all ignoring those white sneakers, right?) For those of us who appreciate a man that's a little rough around the edges (and doesn't pluck his eyebrows more often than we do), Henry appears to be the Superman we've been waiting for.

With advance ticket sales for "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" well underway, and thousands of fans rushing to purchase their early admittance to the hottest vampire drama of the year, it's clear that the "The Twilight Saga" is a very big deal to a very large number of devoted fans. But just how devoted are these ticket-grabbing aficionados of all things Cullen?
Personally, we'd have guessed that Twilight Love was a nebulous tsunami of passion that defied statistical measurement! But the folks over at Fandango gave it a go anyway, measuring survey responses of a few thousand fans and offering us an exciting, EXCLUSIVE look at the results. And... well, let's just say that some of you guys don't just love "Twilight," you actually live it. Because, by the numbers:

Pop quiz, Halloweenies! Are you an aficionado of goth culture, revenge-by-torture, cold case murders and playing with fire?
If you answered yes to all these questions... well, we're sure you'll have a lovely Halloween in whatever prison you're currently residing in!
But if you merely aspire to this sort of questionably legal bad-assery, then may we suggest that you spend your All Hallows Eve spent dressed up as the lovely...
LISBETH SALANDER?

The heroine of "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" is a compelling character and the owner of one of the film and literary world's most instantly recognizable looks. Which is great, because when you show up to your local costume party with cropped black hair, a kick-ass leather jacket, multiple facial piercings and lots of sexy body art, nobody will have to ask, "What are you?"

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
It's puppy love for Selena Gomez!

On Monday, the pop starlet was spotted in London, Ontario, holding tight to 10-week old husky Baylor, which she and BF Justin Bieber adopted last week.

You probably know today's guest blogger, Phoebe Tonkin, best as bitch witch Faye on The CW's "Secret Circle." Which flick gets Phoebe's blood racing? "Child's Play"!
My favorite scary movie is "Child's Play." I know it’s not that scary anymore, but Chucky gave me nightmares when I was a kid. His laugh is terrifying. My mom owned a toy store and whenever we would go and play in the back room of the store after school, I was always scared of the dolls coming to life. I know I was probably too young when I saw it, but my best friend had an older sister who would babysit us, and one night she was watching it, so my friend and I hid behind the couch and watched it too. I guess I didn’t expect a movie about a doll to be so terrifying. I still like watching it now because it’s so dark and twisted. I like the sequels too, but nothing beats the original. "Bride of Chucky" is pretty good. I plan on re-watching it this year for Halloween! Actually, "Bride of Chucky" would make a great Halloween costume!

FROM MTV NEWS: Bad news, Twilighters: You're going to have to wait a little longer for the video for Bruno Mars' "It Will Rain," the first single from the "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" soundtrack.
Originally, the clip was set to premiere Wednesday night on MTV—with a special live-stream event to follow on MTV.com—but those plans have been put on hold for the foreseeable future because the video isn't finished just yet.
Mars himself took to Twitter on Monday (October 24) to break the news about the "Rain" delay and to beg forgiveness from all the "Twilight" fans out there.
Read the full story—including which "Breaking Dawn" music video will premiere Wednesday—at MTV News.
