Our fight against future foes continues this week as we, along with our friends at TheFABlife and NextMovie, celebrate all things dystopian!
With all of our, um, gentle prodding over the past few months, we can only hope you've made time to dive into one of our favorite dystopian reads of the year, Tahereh Mafi's intriguing "Shatter Me." The novel follows teen Juliette, who's been locked in solitary confinement for nearly a year thanks to her curse gift: her touch is lethal power.
Tahereh recently chatted with TheFABlife about her inspiration for the novel and her take on the dystopian trend, and we've got a bit of bonus material from the interview.

Kellan Lutz, who changes his hairstyle more often than some people change their underpants, is at it again: the "Breaking Dawn" star tweeted out a picture of his latest 'do, and it's...um...well...undone. For where there once was hair—glorious, curly, multi-hued hair!—there is now only a five-o'clock head shadow and a prickly feeling. (He first tweeted a pic of himself with a Noah "Puck" Puckerman 'do, joking that he wasn't sure whether Movember was a mustache or Mohawk movement.)
Kellan had been duty-bound to hang on to his hair for the duration of the "The Twilight Saga" filming schedule, and no doubt he was giddy to see it gone; his tweet accompanying the pic mentioned the "amazing" feeling of frolicking in the Australian sea with his newly shorn head. But considering the smoldering sexylook on his face, we're thinking that he's thinking that the ladies are going to like this change, too. Sooooo...ladies? (And men! We don't discriminate!) Vote in our poll after the jump and tell us which Kellan cut you prefer!

If you managed to tear yourself away from iPod and the "Rumor Has It"/"Someone Like You" mash-up long enough to watch the latest episode of "Glee," you were probably disappointed. After a week off for Thanksgiving, we returned to once again follow the journey of Santana and the finally appreciated Naya Rivera, but unfortunately all the punch, or slap, of the last episode's finale got sucked dry very quickly.
Santana's slap heard 'round the world landed her in the principal's office, as it should have. The whole point of the slap was that it was this really dramatic breaking point for Santana, one with consequences. Wishful thinking. Anyway, the whole issue got swept under the rug by Finn and his lifeless face when he told Figgins that it was a "stage slap." Naturally, Santana asked why Finn would cover for her instead of letting her miss sectionals, and Finn gave the tried and true "Glee" excuse for doing anything. It was all about a fair fight. Of course it was.

We've already seen Chris Meloni flashing a badge on "Law & Order: SVU" and flashing some...er, other things on HBO's "Oz," but there's one part of the man formerly known as Detective Stabler that we haven't gotten a peek at yet: his fangs.
But wait! (You are probably shouting.) Does Chris Meloni even have fangs?
The answer: maybe! Or at least, he'll be acquiring them soon—assuming that, as TV Line reports, he's about to snag himself a major role on the next season of "True Blood." Rumor has it that the owner of television's sexiest receding hairline is eyeing the part of a powerful vampire for the show's fifth season.

It's been a long and winding road bringing the indie film "Girlfriend" to a national audience, but all that work has finally paid off. The flick, which stars Jackson Rathbone, Shannon Woodward and Evan Sneider, was awarded the 2011 Gotham Independent Film Audience Award at last night's Gotham Awards in New York City. The fan-voted award was the just the latest wave of support from "Girlfriend"'s ardent admirers.
The film's director, Justin Lerner, caught up with Hollywood Crush today to talk about the big win, which he called a "humbling moment." Appropriately, he thanked the fans of "Girlfriend" who voted to earn the movie its recognition.
