Justin Timberlake has walked his share of big-deal red carpets, but according to JT himself, his most exciting appearance to date was one where the spotlight wasn't on him.
After attending the Marine Corps Ball in Richmond, Justin—who appeared on the arm of Cpl. Kelsey De Santis—took to his website to describe the evening as "one of the most moving... I’ve ever had." (He also posted a photo taken during the festivities, and he looked quite dapper next to his uniformed date. Only... dude, what's with the chin scruff? That is soooo not military-issue!)
Justin accepted his invite to Richmond after Cpl. De Santis posted a YouTube video asking him to accompany her—the second time this year that a service member has snagged a famous civilian date to one of these exciting events. (Justin's "Friends With Benefits" co-star Mila Kunis also accepted an invitation earlier this year after a similar videoed plea came to her attention.)
So... can we all snag celebrity dates via the internet now? Because if so, we'd like to officially request Hunter Parrish to be our escort to this year's Christmas party.
