We don’t mind our Hump Day Hotties cute and cuddly. And we don’t mind admitting that there have been a few cuties in the Muppet mix over the years. So, with "The Muppets" opening today, we have to give it to newbie Walter for being super-adorable. And what better way to do that than by naming him our Hump Day Hottie?

Vital stats: Walter is the new guy on the block. And he loves the Muppets. Like a lot. So much so, that he would do anything to chill with them and bring them back to their former glory. Oh, yeah, he’s got a brother, Gary, who we have to say looks a lot like Jason Segel.
Where you might have already seen him: Out and about, reminding the world how awesome the Muppets are! And making sandwiches.
“The thing about Walter—Walter and I, when I first moved to L.A., we were roommates and so we were roommates and I just really thought he was a really talented guy and he just never got a shot,” Nick recalled. “And the great thing about when you get some power or leverage in Hollywood, you can help your friends. So I called Walter up—he was working at Canters Deli, behind the deli counter—and he hadn’t really worked that much in the intervening years. He was just thrilled to have the opportunity, but nepotism can only get you so far. But he broke the barrier. He was hired.”
Why you should take notice of him now: He plays the film’s lead dude, Walter, in the latest “Muppets” flick out this week. Created by Jason Segel and Nick, the film really pays homage to the classic Jim Henson creations. And in case you’re wondering, Walter really is as nice as he seems. Nick added, “I feel so happy [he’s in the flick] cause he's the greatest guy; he’s a sweetheart.”
