Eddie Redmayne has been floating around the hottie pool for a while now, but his breakthrough role in "My Week With Marilyn" has elevated him to true star status. As he continues to build his resume, we’re going to go ahead and name him this week’s Hump Day Hottie.

Vital stats: The 29-year-old actor grew up in London and has quite the smart-guy background. He attended Eton and then later studied art history at Trinity College, Cambridge. In addition to acting, he’s also modeled for Burberry. And he’s pals with folks like Robert Pattinson and “The Yellow Handkerchief” co-star Kristen Stewart.
"She's wonderfully intelligent and a bright spunky girl and was when we made this a couple of years ago and remains it now," he told MTV News. "And after all the craziness that I've watched Rob, who's an old mate and I knew Rob before I met Kristen actually, and they both retained such a great head on their shoulders despite the extraordinary chaos and wonder that is 'Twilight.' So I think they'll remain doing interesting work, and I can't wait to see what it is they'll do next."
Where you might have already seen him: He’s done some interesting work, having appeared in projects like “The Other Boleyn Girl,” “The Yellow Handkerchief,” “Tess of the d'Urbervilles” and “The Pillars of the Earth.”

"I mean, Michelle is an incredible actress, and Eddie Redmayne is also in it, so he did a great job," she said.
