With all the holiday cheer, presents and family togetherness, you wouldn't think you needed another gift this time of year.
Well, you were wrong.
Keeping with our tradition of presenting you photos of hot dudes in goofy, Christmas-themed outfits, Hollywood Crush has compiled a photo gallery of some of your (and our) favorite male celebs donning that fluffy red and white headgear known as a Santa hat.
Some were snapped on set, like Nick Zano in his ABC Family Movie "Desperately Seeking Santa," about a man who wins a mall sexy Santa contest (sounds like ABC Family knows what you/we want out of life), or Ashton Kutcher and Max Greenfield in recent episodes of "Two and a Half Men" and "New Girl." Some donned the apparel for charity, like Matt Damon in his video for water.org, and some wore the most appropriate hat you can wear at a holiday parade, like Nick Cannon.
Then there's this photo of a young Ryan Philippe, which really defies explanation.

2011 was a great year for Hump Day Hotties. It seemed like week after week there was some choice cutie for us to swoon over. As the year wraps up, we want to take the next two weeks to reflect on some of our favorite lookers of 2011, as we prep for the inevitable inundation of 2012 babes. Today's reveal includes Nos. 10 through 6, but you'll have to come back next week to check out the final five, including our pick for No. 1!

10. Joshua Bowman, "Revenge"
It’s hard not to fall for playboy-with-a-heart-of-gold Daniel Grayson. Since the show kicked off earlier this year, we’ve been not only addicted to all its glamorous drama, but to also getting the chance to check out Josh without his shirt on.

"Glee" has been known to snag a notable celeb guest star or two. Chewbacca even found time in his busy schedule to make an appearance. But few can compare to the Academy Award-winner making her debut on the Fox musical series when it returns January 17.
According to TVLine, Helen Mirren will make a cameo appearance on "Glee" next month, but it won't be an "appearance" per se. She will play the internal voice of one of the characters. Unfortunately, there's no word yet on who exactly she'll stand in for.

If you've been watching television lately, chances are you've been befuddled (as have we!) by the previews for "We Bought a Zoo"—a holiday feel-good sort of film about a motley crew of folks who set out to save a dilapidated zoo...only to find that (yep, you guessed it), it's really the zoo that saves them. But despite appearances, this isn't a Lifetime Original Movie; it's directed by Cameron Crowe and features a crazy A-list cast, including Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson. So when we sat down with Scarlett to talk about the soon-to-be-released film (out December 23), Josh Horowitz had to ask: What's with the zoo movie?
Turns out, Scarlett was thrilled to take on a role that's totally opposite her image of the sultry, sexy leading lady. Why? Well, for one:
"It means you can eat more," she said.

By now, Rooney Mara's extreme makeover for her role in "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" is old news—and when the actress sat down with Josh Horowitz to discuss the film, the only remaining evidence of her on-screen look was her still dark-dyed hair and a structured blazer that looked like something Lisbeth might wear to a corporate luncheon. (In a good way!) But while the Mohawk and piercings have been left on set, Rooney admitted that her gothic alter-ego wasn't easy to shed—not during filming, and not now, either.
"It's impossible to leave it behind when it's attached to your head, and your body, you know?" she said, in response to a question about what it was like to take Lisbeth home at the end of the day. Although, she added, she didn't exactly have time to dwell on it:
"When you work 16 hours a day, there isn't really time to do anything else but go home and go to sleep."

Let's be real: Amanda Hocking doesn't need any help from us to work her fans into a rabid, frothing frenzy over her "Trylle" books, the three-part story of a girl who discovers that she's actually a powerful member of a race of unearthly beings. (Girlfriend self-published the series in 2010 and earned, like, a bajillion dollars and the sort of public adoration most authors can only dream of.) But nevertheless, we are very excited to have an EXCLUSIVE first look at the book trailer—which comes just a few short weeks before the publication of the book by St. Martin's Griffin!
You can't beat the storyline for "Switched," the book that starts off the series with a bang: When Wendy Everly was a little girl, her mother was convinced she was a monster and tried to end her life. And while crazy mom has been locked away in the loony bin since her attempt at murdering her own daughter, Wendy is starting to wonder whether there might have been something to her mom's paranoia after all. Enter Finn Holmes—the mysterious, sexy guardian who's been watching over Wendy until she was old enough to learn the truth about her supernatural origins—and the revelation of a hidden world full of mysteries, dangers, and untapped powers that Wendy never knew she had.

We could spend the better part of a day listing all the ways in which we're green with envy over actress Eva Mendes, but first and foremost would be her new romance with our boyfriend Ryan Gosling. And as we nurse our broken heart, here she is pouring salt in the wound by playing the hottie's wife in a new Funny or Die video. Ouch.
The clip, titled "Drunk History Christmas," features an inebriated man reciting the classic tale "'Twas the Night Before Christmas," as Eva, Ryan and Jim Carrey (he of the rosy cheeks and a belly that jiggles like a bowl full of jelly) act out the parts.
Of course, we would watch Ryan watch paint dry, but it's especially nice seeing him in a small part that highlights his comedic chops (especially at this festive time of year). Also, who knew those old-timey sleeping caps could look so...hot?
Check out "Drunk History Christmas" after the jump! (NSFW language, BTW)

We've bestowed our Girl Crush honor upon a number of butt-kicking actresses, including Lily Collins, Teresa Palmer and Nina Dobrev, but none have undergone a transformation quite as complete as Rooney Mara did in order to portray hacker-punk Lisbeth Salander in the big-screen adaptation of "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo." (Chica pierced her NIPPLE for Ikea's sake!) So, in honor of her intense dedication to the role and the film's opening tomorrow, we've named the star this week's Girl Crush.
In exchange for the title, we asked Rooney to divulge her own Girl Crush. "Lykke Li," she said, citing the 25-year-old musician whose "Possibility" appeared on the "New Moon" soundtrack. "I just saw her live for the first time a few weeks ago, and I've had a Girl Crush on her ever since."

It was one of the closest races in Hollywood Crush history—seriously, we had to whip out our nanometer to measure the winning margins!—but the results of our year-end polls are in. And if you're a lover of wizardly whimsy, get ready to cry into your sorting hat: the contentious face-off between Potterheads and Twilighters has ended with a narrow victory for the vampire set, with Edward, Bella and the folks of Forks taking home Best Ensemble and the win for Best Couple.
The competition for the Best Ensemble title was especially fierce: With nearly 2 million votes cast, the vampire set won by only one tenth of a percent. (The Best Couple award, not so close; as epic as their romance was, Ron and Hermione just couldn't compete with the furniture-destroying passion of Mr. and Mrs. Cullen.) But this wasn't the only close race in our quest to name the best of the best for 2011! Want to see who made off with honors for Best Sex Scene, Best Dressed and Best Ryan Gosling Moment? (Hint: it's Ryan Gosling.) Click for the full roundup of winners!
