It's still hard to imagine that anyone could outdo the original, Swedish "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" actress Noomi Rapace when it comes to Salanderitude (yes, we are totally copyrighting that word)...but the more we hear from Rooney Mara, the more it looks like the American girl is going to give the original Lisbeth a serious run for her money.
Rooney is on the cover of Allure magazine's January issue, where not even a high-fashion beachfront photo shoot could fully erase the vibe of the bony, haunted ladyhacker—and her interview leaves no question that she went all out to perform this career-making role.
And when we say that she went all out, what we actually mean is that she...um, took it all off. Because for real, there's a lot of naked Rooney in this movie. But unlike a lot of young Hollywood celebs, the actress met her nude scenes without much more than a shrug.

For fans of "The Twilight Saga," James Franco or both, it should comes as no surprise that the actor is writing movie reviews for The Paris Review and, more specifically, writing a review about the saga's latest installment, "Breaking Dawn." After all, the James has been into Stephenie Meyer's bloodsucking tale for a while now. (See: here and here)
The review hit the streets about a week ago, but it seems to be getting a lot of attention as of late for some reason that we haven’t really pegged down other than the fact that it's James Franco reviewing “Breaking Dawn.” So, we're entering the fray as well and taking a closer look at the review to see what all the hubbub is about.
A wearer of many hats, James puts on his critic's cap to ponder the fourth film in the franchise. In his article (in which he also writes about Alexander Payne’s “The Descendants”), James dedicates quite a bit of ink to the sex lives of the film’s main pair, Bella and Edward, but he also manages to squeeze in some talk about Jacob’s frequently pondered mid-section.

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the identity of A—the mysterious texter terrorizing the teen inhabitants of Rosewood—will be revealed in the season two finale airing March 19! The report also noted that someone will be arrested for Alison's murder (the same someone revealed to be A?) and that a beloved character will be killed (don't worry, it won't be one of the four leads).
It's a huge revelation indeed, seeing as much of the conflict in the ABC Family series has revolved around A's manipulative messages and the havoc they wreak. In fact, the news sent us into total bloodhound mode, sniffing for any and all clues as to who exactly A could be. We've fingered five likely suspects after the jump (evidence included). Check out our hunches, leave your own and vote in our poll to tell us who YOU think A is.

Now that Miss Triple Threat Lea Michele has kicked off her movie career with a box-office champ, how much longer will we be seeing her on "Glee"? After all, her character Rachel is a senior at McKinley High, and there's no way she'll be held back from pursuing her dreams to become a superstar, right?
When MTV News caught up with Lea recently, we asked her what she knows about the future of Ryan Murphy's showstopper and what rumblings she's heard about getting her own spin-off or shooting the show in New York.
"I think that that would be an incredible idea, so we'll just have to see what happens," Lea said of doing a spin-off based in the Big Apple. "I definitely think everyone is looking into all different options, so I think it will be something really exciting. I can't say what it will be, but I think it will be something really fun. I know that me and Cory [Monteith], Chris [Colfer], Naya [Rivera] are graduating, Amber [Riley] too. We love our job, love this show and we really would be happy to be on it in whatever form it would be, so we'll see what happens. But I'm a New Yorker so if Rachel Berry gets to hit up New York City I'm going to be the happiest girl in the whole world."

Here's one role you can scratch off of Hollywood's Most Wanted List: The part of infamous outlaw Clyde Barrow in "The Story of Bonnie and Clyde" has been filled by one-time "Vampire Diaries" actor Sean Faris, Variety reports.
The 29-year-old will star opposite "True Blood" actress Lindsay Pulsipher, who landed the role of Bonnie Parker back in September. According to the report, the indie film "aims to explore many aspects of the lives of the Depression-era bank robbers that have never been seen on the big screen before."

We may or may not have done our fair share of internet dating, so we may or may not have seen just about every desperate, detestable ploy used to get a girl to go out with a guy. Yet, we somehow can't decide whether this particular gem falls under "terrible" or "tremendous." (We're leaning towards the latter...)
Let's go back. All the way back. To 2008. When Schmidt, the wannabe ladies' man of Fox's "New Girl" played by Max Greenfield, created an online dating profile video to woo the women of Los Angeles. And, honestly, guy knows his audience, as he hilariously channels the opening credit sequence from a certain MTV series starring Lauren Conrad.

We don't often think of the words "Panem" and "primping" in the same sentence, but leave it to merchandise-happy Hollywood to find a savvy way to make it happen! After much debate and a few important conceptual tweaks, the "Hunger Games" nail polish line is back in business; Lionsgate, the studio releasing the film, will partner with China Glaze to release a "Colors from the Capitol" series of nail enamels designed to evoke the glitzy, appearance-obsessed world of the dystopian capital city. The hues will hit store shelves March 1, 2012.
Skewing the tie-in to be Capitol-specific was a good move for the studio—and hopefully, a salve for the annoyed fans who pointed out that the original nail polish concept wasn't exactly in line with the dark, depressing world of District 12 (where, let's be honest, the residents are too busy starving, mining and plotting revolution to bother with piffling nonsense like manicures.) The whole hullabaloo got us thinking about other weird "Hunger Games" tie-ins that would leave fans scratching their heads. For example...

With its celebration of ordinary people and extraordinary achievements, the CNN Heroes Tribute was a different kind of red-carpet event than the usual Hollywood affair—but that didn't stop some of our favorite celebs from showing their support at yesterday evening's ceremony! And photographers snapped some great shots when the stars came out last night to support this celebration of people who have dedicated their lives to making a difference.
Miley Cyrus, who showed her support with a performance of her hit song "The Climb," showed up on the arm of Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne himself!) and was all smiles in a gauzy yellow gown. She later took to Twitter to express her gratitude for the opportunity to participate. "What a glorious night to be apart of. Thank you for having me on your stage @CNN Such an honor."

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2": Harry and Ginny
Harry and Ginny have been trying for, like, three whole movies to get a relationship going—that pesky Lord Voldemort and his plans for world-domination-by-murder just keep getting in the way! But in the final chapter of the "Potter" saga, the two finally end up just where they should: together. On a train platform. In creepily realistic age makeup.
