If you've ever read even one of her bestselling "Iron Fey" fantasy novels, you know that Julie Kagawa is one killer storyteller. And if you've been dying for an EXCLUSIVE sneak peek at the cover of "The Immortal Rules," the very first book in her brand-new "Blood of Eden" series, well, prepare to be actually dead—because we've got it! Fangirls and fanboys, feast your tiny eyeballs on the glorious artwork that will precede your new favorite vampire story of all time. (See the full image after the jump!)
Say it with us now: OOOOOOOOOOOH. Talk about the pitch-perfect note of mournful creepiness for a book about a recently turned vampire who's desperate for the cure that'll make her human again! And if you're wondering how this new series will stack up to "Iron Fey," Julie herself let us know that we're in for more grit, more gore and plentiful ass-kicking at the hands of our undead heroine.

The Men Of The Hunger Games may sound like the title of a cheesy beefcake calendar (which, BTW, we would totally buy), but the pithy description simply sums up the scene in the dystopian drama's latest still to hit the interwebs (via Facebook).
The image captures District 12's stylist Cinna (Lenny Kravitz), mentor Haymitch (Woody Harrelson) and tribute Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) in what looks to be a pep talks of sorts before the titular tournament. And if Haymitch's mop top—which he based upon his real-life brother's 'do—wasn't on full enough display in the trailer and character poster, well, you're getting quite the unfettered view here.

When footage of co-stars Jason Segel, Alison Brie and Emily Blunt (along with the latter's husband, John Krasinski) singing karaoke in an Ann Arbor, Michigan, bar earlier this summer went viral, I had a feeling the film they were working on, 2012's "The Five-Year Engagement," would be something to see. (Frankly, I probably would have paid $13.50 just to watch that for two hours...) And with the trailer hitting the web today (thanks, Yahoo! Movies), it looks like my hunch was correct.
The comedy (from the producers of "Bridesmaids") follows Victoria (Emily) and Tom (Jason), a newly engaged couple living in San Fransisco, whose wedding plans are put on hold when Victoria accepts a two-year position at the University of Michigan. Which then becomes a four-year position...and so on. The couple must weather the ups and downs of their bloated betrothal, like waiting so long to walk down the aisle that one of their grandmothers dies!

We know it’s hard to believe that Zac Efron has never been one of our Hump Day Hotties. But, we’re making amends before 2011 wraps up and showing the "New Year’s Eve" actor some major love. So, Zac, in order to ring in the New Year right, we resolve to finally name you our Hump Day Hottie. (And we're not the only ones swooning over Zac; click on the video below to hear co-star Abigail Breslin talk about CRYING over meeting him!)
Vital stats: Zachary David Alexander Efron (yes, that’s his real full name and, yes, it’s quite the mouth full) was born 24 years ago on October 18 in California. When he wasn’t in school, Zac was bulking up his resume in local theater before eventually getting scoring an agent at the suggestion of his drama teacher. Since breaking up with Vanessa Hudgens last year, Zac’s been flying solo.

If you've been salivating over the moody, mysterious, rapid-cut preview for "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo"...well, maybe you shouldn't watch this! Because the folks at Funny or Die have made their own version of this fascinating video—and made sure that we'll never again enjoy the trailer for the first Hollywood installment of Lisbeth Salander's story without also, involuntarily thinking of the words "Jager s---s". THANKS A LOT, GUYS.
(This probably goes without saying, but the clip has some salty language...)
"The Girl With the Tramp Stamp Tattoo" is like a nightmare version of the much-anticipated feature film, complete with a pink scooter, projectile vomit and—yes—a giant butterfly tattoo in That Particular Spot on the back of Emma Roberts. Who seriously sells it, by the way; her performance as "Lisbeth" is so brilliantly trashy that it'll pretty much ruin any goose-pimply anticipation you might've had for the real-deal thriller. But hey, it's funny! Sort of! And we're seriously digging the bespectacled look on Joe Manganiello.

If your own "Breaking Dawn"-esque wedding seems far off in the future (as in, you still have homework and maybe just learned how to drive), satisfy your fantasy-filled fashion cravings with the new line of "Twilight"-inspired prom dresses, available later this month!

The new Prom 2012 Romantic Vampire line was designed by Alfred Angelo, the same company producing a reasonably priced replica of Bella's Carolina Herrera wedding frock. There are 31 dresses in the collection, and they all have a dark, romantic vibe without being over-the-top goth. (Think Alice or Bella, not Taylor Momsen.)
There were "more important" story elements that happened during last night's episode of "Glee," but before I touch on those, something needs to be addressed. Harry Shum Jr., a.k.a. Mike Chang, has emerged as a crux of the show. Tonight's episode solidified his status as a triple threat, even though his acting was wasted on a forced storyline. All I'm gonna say is that "Glee" needs to rearrange its cards with Harry near the top.
This week we saw the next step for a storyline we kind of all saw coming. Quinn found out about Puck and Shelby, so naturally she was going to use that as leverage in an attempt to get Beth back. Not so naturally, however, she decided to spell her plan out like a Bond villain to the last person you'd expect her to even talk to, Rachel. Instead of hating the now-suspended leading lady, Quinn confided in Rachel, who made it her personal goal of the week to make sure she didn't squeal, because, hey, what else was Rachel going to do this week?

We've been following 15-year-old Abigail Breslin's career ever since she shimmied onto the silver screen (and into our hearts) at the tender age of 10 in the wonderfully weird "Little Miss Sunshine." And with the release of this week's rom-com romp "New Year's Eve," the actress is showing just how grown up she's become, flashing her bra ("This isn't 'Girls Gone Wild'!") and puckering up for her first movie kiss. So in honor of her on-screen evolution, we're naming Miss Breslin this week's Girl Crush!
In exchange for the honor, we asked the star to tell us which Hollywood ladies she admires. "I really like Reese Witherspoon. Anne Hathaway, I really like," she said. "I love all their work."

When it comes to sci-fi dramas, a grizzled patriarch is a must-have—and the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's "The Host" might have just scored one serious dude for this pivotal role!
Entertainment Weekly reports that William Hurt is in talks to join the cast as Jeb, the hard-working father figure in the movie's cave-dwelling herd of humans. (Note: If you don't know who William Hurt is, just look up his IMDb page; it'll take all of two seconds before you say, "Oh! It's that guy!")

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away called Lima, Ohio, a follicly gifted fighter joined forces with a rag-tag group of glee clubbers to wage intergalactic warfare. And...sing show tunes?
During an interview on last night's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" "Glee" star Matthew Morrison confirmed earlier rumors that the Fox musical series would welcome its hairiest guest star yet: Chewbacca of "Star Wars" fame.
“We called up George Lucas and he gave us Chewbacca," Matthew, who directs the December 13 Christmas episode, confirmed. "There is only one guy who can officially be Chewbacca, and he lives in Northern California and they flew him in."
