We're working our way up to the end of the year, and right now, we've got just one question: Who had the best sex in 2011?
...Ew, no! Put your hand down, you pervy oversharer! We don't mean you, personally; we're talking about Movie Sex, the subject of today's Best of 2011 poll. Because when it comes to getting down and dirty, Hollywood really delivered this year with a host of delightful sexytimes scenes—ranging from hot and steamy, to romantic and dreamy, to... uh, kinda awkward and depressingly familiar. (We're looking at you, "Bridesmaids.") But while there are many nominees to choose from, there can only be one winner! So, take your pick. Which film wins it for best cinematic sex scene this year?
"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" (featuring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson)
After three long years of waiting, the rings are on and the clothes come off—and it's the hottest vampire-human sex scene ever caught on film! And they don't even really show it!. But it doesn't matter, it's JUST THAT AWESOME! Or at least, we suspect that at least some of you will think it is.

Get off that fainting couch and into your corset because we're returning to Victorian London for another adventure with our favorite demon destroyers. The second novel in author Cassandra Clare's "Infernal Devices" series, "Clockwork Prince," is out today, and we have a special treat for all you Shadowhunter fans!
As you may know, the audiobook versions of "The Infernal Devices" are narrated by none other than "Gossip Girl" star Ed Westwick (in his amazing English accent, no less). So in anticipation of the recording's release, Cassandra called up Ed to ask him a few fan questions, and we have the EXCLUSIVE interview!
In the clip, Ed addresses several topics, including his own fave reads, but the query that got us most excited was whether he'd consider playing damaged yet dreamy Will Herondale in the film adaptation (currently in pre-production).

This year's biggest New Year's Eve party may actually have taken place nearly a month before the big night itself—at least, if the photos from last night's movie premiere for "New Year's Eve" is any indication. The star-studded ensemble cast was out in full force, dressed to the nines in appropriately glitzy gowns and well-tailored tuxes.
Granted, there are a few year-end accessories missing from the overall tableau; you won't see any paper hats, champagne showers or 10-second countdowns in our flipbook from the event...but hey, there is NYE poster boy Ryan Seacrest! Plus, great shots of Lea Michele snuggling up to Ashton Kutcher, Hilary Swank in a spangled minidress; Katherine Heigl and Sofia Vergara showing off their megawatt smiles; and, of course, Zac Efron getting nice and close to Michelle Pfeiffer. (That last pic may or may not launch a thousand May-December romance rumors—we've got hand-to-waist contact!)

Vindication is ours! Sorta.
We had a few choice words for People magazine last month when they named 36-year-old Bradley Cooper Sexiest Man Alive, rather than our very deserving boyfriend Ryan Gosling. And as it turns out, the "Hangover" star himself kinda sees our point.
Appearing on "The Graham Norton Show," Bradley good-naturedly addressed his recently bestowed title and the ensuing pro-Gosling fervor. "It's so awful I'm admitting this, but the hell with it because there was such a backlash when they announced it. And Ryan Gosling, who I love, and I just did a movie with him, and he's the greatest," he enthused.
Bradley went on to recall a "friend" sending him a link to a site comparing the two hunks. "And when I say 'friend,' I mean me alone, looking at the computer," he joked. "It's [Ryan] walking around, and he literally looks like he's in a photo shoot, like he just came off the runway. The pea coat is like this [miming an upturned collar], with the scarf! And then there's ones of me, and I literally look like the neighbor who never really comes out of his house. So it's been interesting."

If you're staring down a long, lonely winter of singledom (including a loverless Valentine's Day in the cold, cruel month of February), then here's a piece of news that'll make you want to rip your own face into little, angry pieces! The news from E! Online is that Ryan Kwanten, best-known 'round these parts as the hot-bodied Jason Stackhouse on "True Blood," will be making an appearance on a special Valentine's episode of "New Girl" as a love interest for star Zooey Deschanel. Because apparently it's not enough for our friends, our boyfriends and every single guy we've ever crushed on to have a thing for the Hot Hipster Poster Girl; she's got to take our celebrity lust objects, too. Way to bogart ALL THE GUYS, Zooey.
The scoop from E! indicates that Ryan will play a prospective one-night stand for Zooey's character Jess, making her the 2,399,764th person in the world to take one look at Ryan Kwanten and immediately want to see him naked. But while we can't get our hopes up for some sizzling nude scenes (this show doesn't air on HBO, alas), this might be a great opportunity to see Ryan playing a different kind of role—and ooooh, perhaps showing off his natural, yummy Australian accent? 'Scuse us, but we've gotta go set our DVR.

We all love Josh Horowitz's After Hours, the lovely video funfest in which he gathers Hollywood's hottest celebs in our studio and...well, just kinda goofs around with them. And we know you love 'em too, as evidenced by the number of times y'all have viewed Ryan Gosling doing a meta-reading of "Hey Girl" memes from the "F--k Yeah! Ryan Gosling" Tumblr. But what if we told you that, for all the fabulous After Hours video clips we've posted here on Hollywood Crush, there are still a few you haven't seen?
Yes! It's true! Like a surprise slice of holiday cake found hidden at the back of the fridge sometime in July, these After Hours Leftovers were never consumed at the time they were first created... but dammit, they're still good. And before the year ends and we usher in a new round of celebrity guests, do feast your eyes on the marvelous, miraculous spectacle of...

Miley Cyrus not only beats up "Revenge" star Joshua Bowman and makes everyone laugh in "So Undercover," she also has some really great chemistry with…Jeremy Piven?
The former "Entourage" star spoke to Shockya.com, and he revealed a bit about playing Miley’s sidekick in the FBI-themed comedy. "I never, ever would have thought that I would be playing opposite Miley Cyrus in a movie, ever, but there we are, and we’re quite an unlikely team,” he said. "And I think because of that we had such fun chemistry. I can’t even describe it, it was just weird—we made each other laugh and enjoyed each others' presence."

2011 is almost out the door, and we're giving it a nice, long goodbye—with a roundup of polls to determine the best of the best from this year! All the movies, all the moments, all the madness; it'll all be here as we count down the days until New Year's and find out what you loved most about 2011. And today, we're kicking it off with a vote for Best Movie Ensemble. And the nominees are...
"Bridesmaids"
Without the perfect cast to carry it off, this movie's combination of haute couture and poop jokes could've just been...well, crappy. (Hurrrr.) But between Kristen Wiig's leading ladyness, Rose Byrne's perfect bitchface and Melissa McCarthy's film-carrying performance as the groom's foul-mouthed sister, it ended up being the best comedy of the year...or, possibly, of ALL TIME.
It's nearly the weekend, which means you'll have 48 uninterrupted hours to shop 'til you drop for the impending holiday season. And excuse us for being so forward, but we're inviting ourselves along! You see, all week on Hollywood Crush, we've been rolling out our Holiday Gift Guides featuring all the irresistible items you need to snatch up for your friends. Today, we've got several suggestions for your best...
Tech Girl

But since gadget and gizmos are such savings-account busters (we're looking at you, iPad!), our recommendations skew primarily towards accessories rather than flashy contraptions—but we know she'll love them regardless!

Haute couture was out in full force this week as movie premieres and awards season nomination events made stars break out their glammest gowns. And while everyone looked fabulous, two lovely ladies stood out for their inventive and intuitive abilities to match their dresses to their bodies' natural (or, in some cases, not-so-natural) palettes. Who scored top honors for her all-over golden glow? And which pink lady should've added another hue into the mix? It's all right here.

Elizabeth Olsen might be a newcomer to the Hollywood scene, but she's got her red-carpet look down like a pro: romantic waves, soft makeup, a champagne-silky clutch and a Valentino dress whose neutral-and-gray pattern plays perfectly with her naturally golden hair and big blue eyes. With its classic long lines and subtle print, this gown doesn't push the envelope—and that's totally okay for an actress who's been the picture of quiet confidence ever since she became one of the most talked-about breakout performers of the year. We have a feeling this won't be Elizabeth's first Style Superstar win!
