Dior must have a thing for Black Swans. Following in the slippered footsteps of pirouetting co-star Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis has signed on to be the latest face for the French fashion house, according to Women's Wear Daily.
The 28-year-old actress posed for a series of Miss Dior handbag ads shot by Mikael Jansson, which will debut in The New York Times on January 29, with placements in several high-profile fashion mags following.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be working with Dior,” Mila said in a statement. “The brand is iconic in so many ways. It defines fashion, elegance and sophistication.”
Mila's been wowing us on the red carpet for years, so we're excited to see how this partnership evolves. The ad images released thus far have an ethereal, almost gossamer-like quality, which contrast nicely with the bags' structured sleekness. And, of course, the starlet is as gorgeous as ever. In other words, we're loving these first looks!
2012 is shaping up be a busy year for the star, who in addition to her new side job as a model, will star in two flicks: "Ted" (the Seth MacFarlane written and directed comedy about a Teddy bear come to life) and "Tar" (the life story of author C.K. Williams).
