Tristan Wilds has been driving us, um, wild for some time now. This week he’s hitting the big screen in the highly anticipated George Lucas film, "Red Tails." With so much attention shining on him, we figured it’s about time Mr. Wilds is our Hump Day Hottie.
Check out this dreamy photo of Tristan and keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: This 22-year-old is from Staten Island, NY. As a teen he pursued his Hollywood dreams in the theater, working with stage vets (like "The Cosby Show" star Phylicia Rashad) to really nail down his craft.
Where you might have already seen him: He started getting recognition for his work in the mini-series “Miracle Boys,” and before long, roles started coming in. He’s appeared in “The Wire,” "The Secret Life of Bees," "Half Nelson" and "90210" (obvi!).
Why you should take notice of him now: He’ll play Ray "Ray Gun" Gannon, a member of the all-black group of fighter pilots in the flick, which opens Friday. It also stars heavy-hitting talent like Cuba Gooding Jr., David Oyelowo, Kevin Phillips, Nate Parker, Daniela Ruah and Michael B. Jordan.
“I’m a guy who loves to fly,” Tristan said of his character. “There’s nothing else he’d rather do. Honestly, I admire Ray, which is why I am so happy I get to play him. He’s a guy with an immense amount of strength and courage.”
In fact, he felt so inspired by the role, that he’s got a bit of a flying bug now. He added, “It’s inspired me to fly. I don’t want to do anything crazy, but I love the sky now. This is a movie that has made me grow tremendously, as an actor, as a person. I’m always up for a challenge.”
