Is your tummy growling as loudly as mine? Happily, in just 50 shortish days, us ravenous fans will finally get to chew on director Gary Ross' vision of "The Hunger Games," when the big-screen adaptation of Suzanne Collins' novel debuts in theaters. Thanks to a number of teasers, we've gotten a few (however brief) peeks at what the dystopian world of Panem will look like, but for stars Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss) and Josh Hutcherson (Peeta), it's all about getting an unfettered view of the visually arresting Capitol.
"Everything in the Capitol for me," Jennifer replied, when asked what portion of the film she was most excited to see. "Every time we showed up in a Capitol scene, I was so blown away. Everything was more than you could have imagined."
But with all the fancy CGI used to create the ruling epicenter, Josh said it was the small details that really brought the scenes to life for him. "The thing that's cool about the Capitol stuff is that so much of it is practical," he revealed. "Like, the whole apartment scene was all a set they built, which was super-incredibly futuristic and amazing. Just to see how that is integrated into the whole green-screen world, as well, is going to be really, really cool."
