Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
Nina Dobrev is a baller. Literally. The "Vampire Diaries" starlet took a short vacation from Mystic Falls on Sunday to suit up for DirecTV's Celebrity Beach Bowl, a friendly flag football game which preceded the Super Bowl in Indianapolis.
The annual event typically draws a slew of celebrities and former football greats, and Nina wasn't the only "Vampire Diaries" actress in attendance. Her co-star Candice Accola (a.k.a. Caroline Forbes) hit the field for the opposing Team Spike, which also included "True Blood" hunks Joe Manganiello and Mechad Brooks, Jordin Sparks and Neil Patrick Harris.
When all was said and done, the leading lady's Team Palladia won the showdown 34 to 21, thanks in part to Nina's last-minute flag pull on Terrell Owens. After slaying a bloodsucker or two, flag football is clearly no match for the actress.
