Spring is in full swing and that means love is blooming along with all the flowers. Don’t believe us? Just ask Keira Knightley—she's getting married! Her publicist confirmed today (via the AP) that she's engaged to James Righton, a keyboard player for the indie rock band Klaxons.
While the couple isn't planning on releasing details about the engagement, we hope she was wearing a dress that allowed her to breathe during the proposal. We wouldn't want her falling into the ocean like her "Pirates of the Caribbean" character and almost drowning! Speaking of, do you think Johnny Depp is invited to the wedding?
The British actress previously dated her "Pride & Prejudice" co-star Rupert Friend, but they split in January 2011. Fashionista Alexa Chung is said to have introduced the British actress to James, and the two began dating shortly after the split.
This will no doubt be a busy year for Keira as she also begins promoting her latest project, "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World." The film follows neighbors Dodge (Steve Carrell) and Penny (Keira), who head out on a road trip to find Dodge's high school sweetheart as an asteroid nears Earth, threatening to wipe out all life. On their journey they learn the most important people can enter your life at the most unexpected times. The star-studded cast also includes Adam Brody and Rob Corddry. Seth Rogen, James Franco and Emma Watson will have cameos as themselves.
