Was there ever any doubt about "Snow White and the Huntsman" becoming the first must-see blockbuster flick of the summer? Uh, not around here—we knew the gothic fairytale was going to be a hit from the very beginning, right from the very first sneak peeks at Kristen Stewart in a suit of armor and Charlize Theron soaking in the world's gnarliest bird bath. And you'd think that the people in the movie would feel similarly! But according to some members of the cast, it wasn't until the film concluded its amazing opening weekend that they could finally sit back, relax and toast to a job well done. And when MTV News' Josh Horowitz caught up with Chris Hemsworth and his leading lady at the MTV Movie Awards, the actor who played the Huntsman declared himself totally validated by the film's great success.
"It's always a relief, isn't it?" he joked. "But the biggest thing is, people love the movie. That's the biggest pat on the back."
And Kristen Stewart echoed his comments, saying that her first foray into big, action-packed studio flick that's not part of "The Twilight Saga" has been seriously rewarding.
"I really dig this one so much—it could have done nothing and we'd still be proud of it," she said. "So it's cool that people sort of raise their hands and say, 'I like it, too!'"
So if you loved "Snow White and the Huntsman," throw your hands up! ...Wait, no, stop. You look ridiculous. Just tell us in the comments instead.
