If you're a "Hunger Games" fan, you've already marked your calendar for the November 22, 2013, release of "Catching Fire" ... but if you're a real "Hunger Games" fan, you'll want to skip ahead now to 2014 and 2015 and make a date for the official release of "Mockingjay," parts one and two. (What's that? You don't have a 2015 calendar on hand for just this occasion? PFFFFT. And you call yourself a fan!)
Lionsgate dropped the news today that "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1" will hit theaters on November 21, 2014, followed a year later by "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2" on November 20, 2015. (So, yeah, we can stop all that two-movies speculation now!) Which is also to say, with a prime pre-Thanksgiving release slot for all three of the sure-to-be-blockbuster films in the "Hunger Games" franchise, there's little question that we'll be talking about nascent revolution, arena death matches and the possible whereabouts of District 13 over our turkey and yams for the next four years. Sorry, Grandma.
