Pen this on a Post-it Note: The CW's "Sex and the City" prequel, "The Carrie Diaries," is set to debut on Monday, January 14, at 8 p.m.! (Clearly you'll need to reschedule any standing engagements you may have with Mr. Big...)
The '80-set series follows a teenage Carrie Bradshaw (played by AnnaSophia Robb), living in Connecticut with father Tom and younger sister Dorritt, in the days after her mother's death. Tom decides the best salve for Carrie's sorrow is an after-school internship at a law firm...in Manhattan. And though new-kid-in-town Sebastian has caught Carrie's eye, it's the city that'll be her first true love.
"The Carrie Diaries" also stars Austin Butler, Chloe Bridges, Stefania Owen, Freema Agyeman, Katie Findlay and Brendan Dooling.
