Hold on to your seraph blades, Shadowhunter enthusiasts: We've got BIG news! MTV.com has been bestowed the grand honor of debuting the very first teaser trailer for "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones," starring Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower and Robert Sheehan!

Based on the urban fantasy novel by Cassandra Clare, "City of Bones" follows seemingly average teen Clary Fray as she uncovers her secret roots in the centuries-old society of demon-destroying warriors known as Shadowhunters.
The film doesn't hit theaters until August 23, 2013, but we'll have your first look on Thursday, November 15, at 10:30 p.m. ET on MTV.com—a day before it debuts in front of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" in theaters.
