If you follow the extracurricular activities of McKinley High's student body, you likely know that "Glee" actor Chris Colfer is starring in a movie (whose screenplay he also penned) called "Struck By Lightning." But what you may not have known, is that the star also penned the film's companion novel "Struck By Lightning: The Carson Phillips Journal."
Chris took to Twitter today to sound the alarm that the book will hit store shelves next week!

"Struck By Lightning" the film (and tome) follow Chris' high-school character Carson, who blackmails the popular kids into writing for his literary magazine—a pet project that he hopes will bolster his chances of getting into Northwestern (go Wildcats!).
Co-starring Rebel Wilson, Sarah Hyland and Ashley Rickards, the film hits theaters in early 2013.
