For the past few years, our list of Things to Be Thankful For has included a bunch of repeat featurees: our friends, our families, our jobs, our health...and, of course, our tortured emo vampire boyfriend who glitters like a beautiful sparklefish in the noonday sun. And this year, our gratitude for "The Twilight Saga" is extra poignant, as the final film in the franchise hit theaters just in time for us to discuss the whole cinematic series (not to mention that brilliant twist of an almost-ending!) with other superfans over our Turkey Day table. So with "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" topping our list this year, it was only fitting that we check in with Stephenie Meyer, who has given us so very much to be thankful for—and ask her what, if anything, she's feeling good about as the end of 2012 draws near.
Her answer shouldn't surprise anyone: "It feels like a really eventful year. A lot of really big things happened this year," she mused. And yes, she said, "The movie coming out is a big deal."
But that wasn't the only highlight of Stephenie's year; click over to MTV News, and see what she has to say about what's new, what's next, and which movies not adapted from her own books she was most thankful for this year! (Hint: The answer may surprise you.)
