Nothing brightens up a cold December day like a pretty party dress and some ravishing red accessories—whether the lady wearing them is walking the red carpet or rockin' around the Christmas tree. So don't be surprised if we show up to your holiday party having flat-out stolen Kerry Washington's gorgeous look from the Women in Entertainment breakfast this week, where she wore a seriously covet-worthy ensemble that also earned her this week's Style Superstar honors.
Kerry was a standout at the event in a sumptuous gray Carven dress, with a deco-inspired, brocade-lined cutout design on the bodice. But it was the accents that made this look Superstar material: red patent pumps and a matching clutch that added a firecracker finish to her amazing look. Also, let's have a moment of recognition for Kerry's historic achievement of being possibly the first adult woman ever to wear cap sleeves without looking ridiculous.
Also out and about this week was Dianna Agron, who wore a wintry take on the floral trend to a screening of "Vogue: The Editor's Eye." The combination of a pinky feminine print and sparkly black sequins is the perfect way to inject some springtime style into a winter evening, and the bedazzled belt is . But—and let's say it all together now, like a Greek chorus—NOT WITH THOSE SHOES. That sky-high platform and chunky heel are all wrong for such a delicate dress (and way too juvenile for the 26 year-old actress). Someone find her a sleek stiletto, stat!
