Jennifer Lawrence and the rest of her "Silver Linings Playbook" cast are the toast of Tinseltown this week with their eight Oscar nominations (including nods for Jennifer, Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro and Jackie Weaver), but when we caught up with the starlet at last night's Critics' Choice Awards, the one thing we wanted to talk about was our hunger. Our hunger for "Catching Fire," that is. And as Jennifer told it, filming on the sequel was much more rigorous than the first go-around.
"This one was harder," she admitted. "There were a lot more six-day weeks, and the schedule was exhausting, [but] it's so fun to get back with everybody, the same crew and obviously Josh [Hutcherson]. And [director] Francis [Lawrence] is such a visionary. I think he's doing an incredible job."
And while Jen avoided kicking anyone in the head this time around (we're sure Josh is grateful for that), she did reveal that she inflicted injury on… herself!
"I kicked myself in the face, only I didn't kick myself; I hit myself with an eight-pound carbon-fiber bow," she explained. "My own arm betrayed me."
So does that mean the ouches were ever in her favor? Heh.
Yeah... we hate us too.
