The actor was at the podium to present the award for Best Adapted Screenplay alongside Amanda Seyfried, where he looked confident and handsome in a slim suit and skinny tie, and hey wait a minute. Haven't we seen this before?
AHA. It's deja vu, all right; this is the same setup we saw four years ago, when Robert's up-and-coming Hollywood star status was officially cemented with a presenter's spot (also with Amanda) at the Academy Awards. Aww! Memories! And man, what a difference four years makes; where 2009 saw the actor fumbling for words on the red carpet and fretting over his responsibilities, his appearance last night was the very definition of poised.
