The salt water hasn't even evaporated from Selena Gomez's baby blue bikini yet, but the "Spring Breakers" star is already hopping out of the ocean and into her next project "Rudderless."
The film marks William H. Macy's directorial debut, and will star Anton Yelchin, Laurence Fishburne and Billy Crudup, in addition to Macy and his wife, "Desperate Housewives" actress Felicity Huffman. According to Deadline, "Rudderless" centers around a father, who following the death of his son, forms a band. The musical drama will begin filming in April in Oklahoma. (Not much seems to be known about Selena's role at this point...)
The former Disney darling continues to rack up roles following the end of her magical series "The Wizards of Waverly Place." In addition to "Rudderless," Sel's got several projects in the can, including "Behaving Badly," "Getaway," and "Parental Guidance Suggested." Plus, there's always that long-gestating YA adaptation "13 Reasons Why," based on Jay Asher's novel, to keep an eye out for.
In musicland, Selena will be releasing new tracks soon. In fact, she'll perform her new single, "Come & Get It," at this year's MTV Movie Awards, airing April 14 at 9 p.m. ET.!
