Winter is coming and so is Thomas Brodie-Sangster to the world of "Game of Thrones." And, let us be the first to say, boy were we surprised to see how grown up the adorable kid from "Love Actually" has become. In honor of that, we’re dubbing him this week’s Hump Day Hottie. "GoT" co-star Kit Harington can offer him some advice, should he need it.
Check out this dreamy photo of Thomas, and keep reading for more details about him!
Vital stats: Thomas grew up in London with his family. And, here’s an interesting factoid about the 22-year-old thespian: He’s also distantly related to the one and only (and one-time “Love Actually” co-star) Hugh Grant. They are second cousins once removed. Now, there’s a family reunion we’d love an invite to.
Where you might have already seen him: In addition to “Love Actually,” he’s also been seen (or heard in) “Phineas and Ferb,” “Dr. Who,” “Tristan + Isolde,” the TV series “Feather Boy” and “Nowhere Boy” (as a young Paul McCartney). And he is the only Hump Day Hottie thus far to have this credit to his name: He played a young Hitler in the TV movie “Hitler: The Rise of Evil.”
Why you should take notice of him now: This season Thomas joins HBO’s otherworldly drama “Game of Thrones,” as Jojen. The show just kicked off its third season over the weekend and has already been renewed for a fourth. We couldn’t be happier to see Thomas joining the "GoT" crew and that we are getting more of the show in the future.
In addition to his run on "Game of Thrones," he’s also booked roles in “Shoplifters of the World” (a rumored role alongside former “Downton Abbey” actress Jessica Brown Findlay, about the demise of The Smiths), “The Maze Runner,” and he’ll reprise his role as Ferb in “Phineas and Ferb.”
Until next week, when we choose another Hump Day Hottie, you can salute Thomas by gawking at the photo above!
