After destroying demons in August's "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones," star Lily Collins may just turn her steely gaze to the walking dead.
Variety reports that Lily is in talks for the lead role of heroine Elizabeth Bennett in the big-screen adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's monster mash-up "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies."
The film's been through a number of iterations since it was optioned by Lionsgate way back in December 2009, with Natalie Portman slated to star and David O. Russell directing. Burr Steers ("17 Again," "Charlie St. Cloud") will now helm the project.
With a single (official) project on the 24-year-old's docket—the Sam Claflin-starring "Love, Rosie"—Lily looks to have ample time to contend with British brain-eaters. (But do they were cravats? THAT'S WHAT WE NEED TO KNOW!)
