With its bevy of bodacious babes and sunny setting, The CW's "Privileged" is one of our favoritest shows to ever gain admittance into the Annals of TV Series Gone Too Soon. (Here's hoping she's having a torrid love affair with "Freaks and Geeks"...) Canceled after its first season, "Privileged" followed Yale graduate Megan Smith (played by the perpetually plucky Joanna Garcia Swisher), who accepted a job nannying for a pair of spoiled Palm Beach brats with the hopes of writing a book about her experiences.
The series helped launch the careers of several actors—including "Pretty Little Liars" starlet Lucy Hale, who played twin Rose Baker. Though some stars haven't fared quite so well, we couldn't help but notice that this week in particular has been a very good one (dare we say, a "Privileged" one?) for the series' alumni. Let's take a look:
Brian, who played the dark and dreamy neighbor of the well-shod Bakers, has doubled his pleasure with the announcement of both a baby and an engagement. The 34-year-old will wed his "Client List" co-star Jennifer Love Hewitt, whom he's been dating for the past 15 months. Us Weekly reports that Jennifer is about three months pregnant with their first child. Yes, we feel the Love.
Jennifer Garcia Swisher
Since "Privileged" was canceled in 2009, the actress has appeared in a number of TV roles, including turns on "Gossip Girl," "Royal Pains," "Better With You" and the quickly canceled "Animal Practice." But she'll add a new movie role to her resume with this week's "The Internship," in which she plays Vince Vaughn's girlfriend. (Not too shabby walking in Jennifer Aniston's footsteps, huh?)
If you tuned into Monday's debut of the super-soapy "Mistresses," you may have spotted the erstwhile Sage Baker as a haughty restaurant hostess (type casting, much?!) on the ABC series. It looks like her character, Kyra, is slated for at least four episodes.
