It's a lovely day for murder and mayhem...don't you agree? After a much-too-long hiatus, "Pretty Little Liars" returns to the ABC Family airwaves tonight with its season four premiere at 8 p.m. ET. But before you tune in, refresh your memory of all the grisly goings-on in Rosewood with our pretty little primer.
Just don't let A catch you unawares...
There's something in the trunk!
Ah, the cliffhanger. One thing's for sure: Officer Wilden's police cruiser is hiding more than just footage from the night of his altercation with Hanna's mom. Something (or, rather, someone, most likely) is stuffed into the back. Expect answers straight away. "Within 30 seconds you'll know what's in the trunk," executive producer I. Marlene King told TVGuide.com of the premiere. Three cheers for instant gratification!
The Queen of Hearts will be unmasked!
Another secret to be revealed? The identity of the Queen of Hearts (okay, not that Queen of Hearts). King tweeted last month that the Halloween train menace will be unmasked in tonight's episode, adding, " U will be shocked to discover Shims identity!"
Red Coat is...Ali?! Ali is...alive?!
Did Ali really rescue the liars from the burning lodge? Is Ali really not dead? Gah, we want to know right now.
Mona joins the team?!
By the closing moments of season three's finale, Mona seemed to be on the wrong side of Red Coat, aligning instead with the liars to reveal his or her identity. Will their alliance continue through season four? We kind of hope so.
These two are done. For now. Sigh
