Sorry, "Girls" fans, Adam Driver is a married man! The actor married his longtime girlfriend, Joanne Tucker, over the weekend.
According to Us Weekly, the nuptials took place over the weekend, and Driver's TV girlfriend, Lena Dunham, was on-hand along with her real-life boyfriend Fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff. The report notes it was a destination wedding, but didn't specify where the longtime couple said "I do."
"They are very sweet together," an insider said about the couple. "They've been dating forever, years, and live together; [they're] very comfortable and in love. She was with him before the 'Girls' fame."
The source added that "They both love theater and the arts. She respects him so much...Everyone on the show is very happy for them."
Perhaps unrelatedly on Sunday, Dunham tweeted, " 'Some wedding aren't great. but I've just never been disappointed by a funeral' -me just chatting away at brunch."
The third season of "Girls" will premiere on HBO next year. In addition to his new role as a husband, Driver has also nabbed roles in the upcoming "Inside Llewyn Davis," as well as "While We're Young," "This Is Where I Leave You" and "The Coward" (with "Girls" co-star Chris O'Dowd.)
