Because every young actress is required by law to take at least one role in which she's hunted through a dark house by ghosts, beasts and/or deranged strangers wearing plastic masks, it should come as no surprise that Bella Thorne has added one such thriller to her roster of projects: According to Deadline, the teen star is set to get scream-queeny in a home invasion flick titled, appropriately, "Home Invasion."
The movie will be a new entry into the ever-popular oeuvre that already includes fave horror films like "The Strangers" and "Them", and features Bella as the daughter of a family imprisoned in their home by unknown assailants, who "play a life-and-death game in which the mysterious rules become clear as the night unfolds."
A game with mysterious rules that take all night to explain? Ohmigod, are these monstrous intruders breaking into people's houses and forcing them to play Parcheesi?! Because truly, that would be terrifying.
"Home Invasion" is just the latest addition to Bella's eclectic resume—she's already a Disney star on the teen dance dramedy "Shake It Up!", and she's got big plans in the works to pen a three-book YA series for Random House that'll be out in 2014.
What do you think of Bella's new movie in the works?
