"Kick-Ass 2" actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been something of a magnet for casting rumors of late. In addition to speculation surrounding his maybe/perhaps/potential casting as Quicksilver in "Avengers: Age of Ultron," he's also been submitting to speculation that he could play damaged billionaire Christian Grey in the big-screen adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey" to be directed by wife Sam Taylor-Johnson. But matrimony does not a movie role make—though Aaron did confirm that he's really happy for his lady love.
"I think Sam is an incredible director, and I'd love to work with her again," Aaron enthused of the director, whom he met on the set of "Nowhere Boy." "But the film is all about casting and I'm anything but Christian Grey. I'm super-excited and thrilled for her. I think even the prospect of her doing it is really great for [the studio]. She adds an element of class to it."
With Aaron not interested, it sounds like another "Kick-Ass 2" star—Christopher Mintz-Plasse—might be. Step up to the Red Room of Pain for your audition, Christopher, and don't forget your toys.
