Honestly, you guys, after all the sadness surrounding Cory Monteith's tragic death this summer, it's been just the littlest bit hard to get excited about the upcoming season of "Glee"—at least not without simultaneously getting really freakin' depressed, because honestly, how will it ever be the same? But if you thought (as did we!) that you'd never be squeal-with-delight thrilled about a return to McKinley High again, guess what: Darren Criss just proved you wrong. He proved us wrong. He proved us all wrong! And we couldn't be happier, because eeeeeeeeeeeeek, we'd almost forgotten about that significant-looking little box that Blaine was holding behind his back the last time we saw the glee club in action.
According to Darren (who was interviewed for a new featurette), those who've been rooting for a happily-ever-after for Blaine and Kurt might be in for a treat when "Glee" returns this fall.
Of course, it's not all good news: Those who've been rooting for a Sylvestatorship (also known as "meanie trolls who hate happiness and fun") are also getting what they want, as Sue will be planting her butt in the school's ultimate power seat. But either way, it looks like the show will be marching on as beautifully as ever, even minus such an important cast member who'll be sorely missed. We could be okay with this.
How about you: Are you excited for the return of "Glee" to TV, or still too sad to be thrilled?
