We've been not-so-patiently waiting to find out who would play Mia's rock-and-roll boyfriend Adam in the big-screen adaptation of Gayle Forman's "If I Stay," and now we finally know who our Shooting Star will be!
Deadline reports that "Snow White and the Huntsman" actor Jamie Blackley has landed the role opposite Chloe Moretz.
"If I Stay" centers around 17-year-old Mia, a talented cellist whose entire family is killed in a horrific car crash. Mia's left comatose, but her soul is very much awake—and struggling with whether she should live or die. Without getting too spoilery, boyfriend Adam plays an important role in Mia's ultimate decision.
British actor Jamie is a relative newcomer, having appeared on episodes of "The Borgias" and "Misfits."
"If I Stay" will be directed by "Nashville" executive producer R.J. Cutler.
