Katy Perry had some pretty choice words for those who twisted hers on Twitter today. Mrs. Brand got caught up in a diva battle with Britney Spears after some bloggers suggested Katy took a swipe at Brit and her new "Hold It Against Me" video, which features the pop superstar showing some of her own products. In a Twitter chat with fellow artist Marina & The Diamonds regarding product placement in music videos, Katy wrote, "do it w/style & grace...Not so in ur face like some. U hv to get creative w/it. Some artists don't care tho, & u can tell." When some folks assumed Katy meant Britney, the "Firework" singer shot back from her page, "Dear tabloid media aka FILTH: pls note I expressed an overall feeling bout product placement, their roles in vids & the art of them being...complimenting or sticking out. Most, if not ALL popsters welcome deals w/products 2 offset costs of big budget vids in these recessional...music industry times. I'VE used them in MY vids before & am happy 2b able 2 make a better vid because of. Once AGAIN, stop pitting artists..against artist for ur sensational satisfaction & stick to what ur best @: lying, gossiping, exaggerating & overall lending a hand 2 the......deterioration of a generation."

On the less hostile end of the celebrity Twitterverse, artists like Natasha Bedingfield (pictured) are gearing up for a Motown musical celebration in honor of Black History Month that will take place at the White House tomorrow. The "Pocketful of Sunshine" singer told followers about her excitement over Thursday's event and performing for two people in particular who will be in the audience: President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama! Natasha wrote from her page, "Hey I'm inside the White House!!!!! I'm singing for the President and the First Lady tomorrow right inside their home!" Another one of the night's guests, John Legend, tweeted a pic of Natasha practicing an oldie for the concert, "At rehearsal for the Motown tribute. Natasha Bedingfield singing "tracks of my tears" http://twitpic.com/42zkvc." Luckily, the concert will be recorded on February 24 and broadcast on PBS on March 1 for all of Natasha's fans to see!

The theme of last night's "Glee" was supposed to be about the dangers of underage teens getting wasted, but instead it turned into a wasted opportunity for Ryan Murphy and Co. to shed some light on a very serious issue.

It just so happened to be Principal Figgins' mandated Alcohol Awareness Week when Rachel's dads are out of town, leaving her with a chaperon-free household. Upon learning the news, Puck pressures her to throw a party at her house. Deciding its time to shake off her good girl image (which now includes writing odes to the wonder that is her headband), Rachel obliges.

When she throws the lamest party ever, in what can only be described as the most horrendous party dress ever, Puck kicks things up a notch and breaks into Rachel's dads' liquor cabinet, promising to replace it later. We're never told at any point in the episode if he actually does or not, the first of many consequence-free actions by the students at McKinley High.

If you're anything like us, you haven't been able to stop singing along or tapping your foot to Adele's latest powerhouse single "Rolling in the Deep" (you may recognize it from those "I Am Number Four" commercials). In which case, you've also made sure that getting her latest album, "21," available now, is your top priority of the day. Turns out, tons of celebs had their Tuesday centered around Adele (pictured) as well, including fellow crooner LeAnn Rimes who tweeted, "downloading ADELE right now yayyyyaayayy." "Pretty Little Liars" actress Lucy Hale only spoke the truth about her love for the English singer-songwriter, "hellllloooo! Adele's new album is out. Its a good day" and so did actor Colton Haynes ("The Gates") who urged his followers, "Everyone buy Adele's new CD 21! It's out today! Grammy should be her middle name." Hopefully, Adele will find her way to "Glee" soon, that is if her fan Dianna Agron has anything to do with it, as she wrote earlier, "Dear Adele, you are so damn talented."

Speaking of unstoppable female forces in the music biz, Lady Gaga turned out an already-historic show at Madison Square Garden on Monday night, when she brought her Monster Ball tour to New York City to tape an upcoming HBO special. The live music extravaganza, which featured a performance of her new hit "Born This Way" was a huge success, prompting Gaga to write from her page in the wee hours, "Just pulled out of MSG, tears streaming down my face. Turned radio on + Born This Way was roaring. Believe, + catch your subway to destiny."

When it was announced a few weeks ago that actor James Franco and actress Anne Hathaway would be hosting the 83rd Annual Academy Awards together, some people were left wondering, "Huh?!" But after some careful consideration about the young and celebrated stars (those very clever Oscar promo ads and that NSFW "Funny Or Die" clip with Judd Apatow probably helped too) it seems the consensus has changed from confused to excited.

Since you can count Hollywood Crush amongst those stoked to see how James (who will be serving double duty on Sunday as co-emcee and a Best Actor nominee for his amazing performance in "127 Hours") and Anne (who earned a Golden Globe nomination for her work in 2010's sexy dramedy "Love and Other Drugs") tackle the prestigious gig, we wanted to give any lingering naysayers five reasons why this unconventional pairing will make for a memorable Oscars.

TGIF took on a whole new meaning around the Twitterverse today: Thank God It's Franco! Yes, the oh-so-handsome Oscar-nominee/host James Franco (who already has something of a limited filter as is) added one more thing to his ever-expanding list of titles and became an official member of Twitter and Facebook. The "127 Hours" star put up his maiden tweet, which read, "Hi everybody, here I am on Twitter! This is my FIRST tweet..." and posted a video of himself with it. On the vid, James (pictured), addressed his fans to assure them, "This is the authentic Facebook, and Twitter, and every other page." He continued, "All those other ones are imposters, I've decided to go on to the web, and this is the real thing. So welcome, don't listen to those other pages." James, consider it done!

Friday was already off to a good start, what with "I Am Number Four" opening in theaters today! One of the movie's stars Dianna Agron got some support from her "Glee"-mates about her highly anticipated flick, including Cory Monteith who posted, "'I Am Number Four' opens tonight! go see @alittlelamb rock the big screen!" and Iqbal Theba (a.k.a. Principal Figgins) who also alerted followers, "'I Am Number Four' starring @alittlelamb opens today!"

In just a few days, Hailee Steinfeld could be an Academy Award-winning actress thanks to her breakthrough performance in the Western "True Grit."

Whether or not she actually goes home with the gold, the 14-year-old has already wowed Hollywood with her talents, making her one of the most in-demand young starlets out there (she's even been one of the names considered to play Katniss in the upcoming, highly-anticipated "Hunger Games" big screen adaptation!)

According to Deadline, Hailee has her first post-"True Grit" project lined up, a drama called "Forgotten." In it, Hailee will play London Lane, a teenage girl who loses her memory every day at 4:33 p.m and can only recall things that happen in her future. She also relies on notes to herself, as well as a school friend, to help guide her through life.

Seeing Kate Hudson in a rom-com may be as expected as doing "The Electric Slide" at a wedding reception, but we're still definitely RSVP'ing to "Something Borrowed." Why? Well, it's adapted from one of the very best chick lit books ever, and it also stars other Hollywood Crush faves like Ginnifer Goodwin, Colin Egglesfield and John Krasinski.

The trailer for "Something Borrowed," due in theaters this summer, finally hit the web last night, and it looks as though Ms. Hudson was right—they're sticking pretty close to Emily Giffin's beloved best-seller.

The clip begins with us meeting Rachel (the always-adorable and oh-so-right-for-this part, Ginnifer) and Dex (Colin), law school classmates who clearly have a connection, until Rachel's self-centered BFF Darcy (Kate) swoops in on him.

Fast forward six years later to Rachel's 30th birthday bash (where the book actually starts) and after some libations she and Dex (who is now engaged to Darcy) wind up kissing in a cab and spending the night together.

Sorry, Justin Bieber, but "Baby" wasn't the most popular song around the "Glee" set this week...it was "Happy Birthday"! On Tuesday, Amber Riley celebrated her 24th birthday with her cast mates, and today their cute co-star Chord Overstreet (who rocked this week's big, Bieber-iffic episode) got all the b-day love. His "Glee"-mates hopped on their Twitter to send 22-year-old Chord (pictured) birthday wishes, including Dianna Agron who posted, "Happy Birthday @chordoverstreet!" and Ashley Fink who wrote, "@chordoverstreet Happy Birthday boo!!!! I love my baby Chord!! Muah!"

Chord wasn't the only one blowing out some candles today. Paris Hilton turns 30 today, and there were plenty of famous tweeters sending birthday wishes her way, including her little sister Nicky Hilton who shared, "There is no better friend than a sister. And there is no better sister than you! Happy Birthday @ParisHilton! xo." Nicole Richie even had sweet things to say, "@ParisHilton Happy Birthday Sil!!" However, our favorite Paris birthday tweet came from Ellen DeGeneres who posted, "Happy Birthday @ParisHilton! For your 30th I'm gonna write 30 things I love about you. I hope I don't run out of space. Here goes. You're pr"

News spread like wildfire this morning that Kourtney Kardashian was engaged to her boyfriend Scott Disick. Turns out, that's exactly what it was for Kourtney: news! The reality star addressed the rumors that she would wed her longtime (and, let's be honest, not always beloved) baby daddy, when she wrote from her Twitter page, "WOW!! Where do the mags come up with this stuff? And claiming exclusives? Come on now." While her little sister Khloe Kardashian (pictured here with Kourtney) wouldn't address the story, she did share, "Just saw @KourtneyKardash new house! It looks fab already! Can't wait until everything is unpacked! Mason I can't get enough of you!"

But Kourtney, Scott and baby Mason weren't the only fam with changes ahead. Jessica Alba announced that she and her hubby Cash Warren are expanding their brood, as she linked to her Facebook page from Twitter to tell fans, "It's been a while since I've been on FB & I thought I'd drop by to let you all in on some exciting news>Honor is going to be a Big Sister!" The actress got plenty of well wishes from the Twitterverse, including some from pals like rocker Joel Madden who wrote, "Congrats you two @cash_warren @jessicaalba some of the best parents around. Happy for you guys!! Another superhuman on its way!!!" and his brother-bandmate Benji Madden, "@cash_warren @jessicaalba Congrats you two! You sure do make beautiful babies! Uncle Benj is stoked!"

"Everything Justin Bieber does is epic." While that may be true (I have absolutely no intention of upsetting you Beliebers... we've all seen what you're capable of!) unfortunately the same couldn't be said for "Glee" last night. While it wasn't a bad episode per se, "Comeback" was a bit lackluster and definitely jumbled in its execution.

Things got off to a shaky start when Sue threatened to commit sue-icide (a pretty touchy thing for Ryan Murphy to joke about, actually) because she could no longer live with the shame of that embarrassing Katie Couric interview and her Cheerios losing the championship.

After a suggestion from Emma that she sit in with the glee club in an attempt to lift her spirits, Sue became an honorary New Directions member and flip-flopped between conniving (she pit Rachel and Mercedes against each other to cause a stir, but more on that later) and the caring person she is deep down inside (it was hard not to get a little teary-eyed when she and Will paid a visit to sick children at the hospital.)
