Erik Stocklin is shaping up to be a bit of a creep on the soapy summer series "Mistresses." But, we’re willing to forgive him because he's just that adorable and because we realize it's just a TV show and it's just his job. And, so, in honor of our crush on him, we’re naming Erik this week’s Hump Day Hottie.
Check out this dreamy photo of Erik, and keep reading for more details about him!
Vital stats: Erik grew up in Freehold, New Jersey, and has put in the time to study his craft. He not only attended Southern Connecticut State University where he graduated in 2010 with a degree in theatre, but also spent some time in Haven's Elm Shakespeare Company and Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York. We also can’t help but notice he reminds us of some vintage, Brat Pack-era Andrew McCarthy.
Bummer summer! News just broke that Disney’s “Shake It Up!” will be ending after a three-season run on the Mouse House. The final season of the show, which stars Disney’s latest breakout tween queens Bella Thorne and Zendaya, will air this summer and continue through the fall.
An air date for the final episode has not been announced yet, according to The Hollywood Reporter. As the “Shake It Up!” chapter closes, the network is already lining up projects to fill the void, including the highly anticipated “Boy Meets World” spin-off “Girl Meets World” and another new show, “I Didn't Do It.”
Even with the show wrapping up its 78-episode run on the network, both stars are already lining up projects.
Taylor Swift gave fans an inside look into her friendship with Selena Gomez earlier this week. On Monday, which just so happened to be Selena's 21st birthday, the “22” singer tweeted out a photo of the pals chilling near the beach, doing their best mermaid poses.
When we got some time with the lovely Selena to chat about her new album, Stars Dance (out now), she gave us the backstory on the pic.
"It’s actually at her house in Rhode Island. We were in Rhode Island. I ran away for like a weekend, just to go be with her. And we were doing poses and just dancing all around her house, her beautiful, big property,” she recalled. “And it was just amazing. It was so much fun. I love Taylor. She’s the best.”
Johnny Simmons is knocking something off his personal to-do list this week. I mean, we imagine that if we ever caught a glimpse of Johnny’s real life to-do list it would include something about being named a Hump Day Hottie the same week his movie "The To Do List" hits theaters. So, Johnny, consider it done. You are this week’s Hump Day Hottie!
Check out this dreamy photo of Johnny, and keep reading for more details about him!
Vital stats: 26-year-old Johnny grew up in Dallas and has quite the star-spangled background. If our sources (the internet) are correct, then young Johnny happens to be the great, great, great (etc) nephew of Founding Father Patrick Henry and the third cousin of Confederate General Robert Edward Lee. What a good-looking Yankee Doodle Dandy Johnny is!
John Gallagher Jr. had us swooning on the last season of "The Newsroom." He's just so nice...and incredibly easy on the eyes. What's not to love, right? His adorable charm is anything but news to us. So, with the new season of the HBO series underway, we figured why not show him all the love he deserves and name him this week’s Hump Day Hottie.

Vital stats: This Wilmington, Delaware, native, 29, was raised by two folk singers, which might explain where all his artsy talent comes from. Around the same time he was making a name for himself on Broadway, he also played in a band called Old Springs Pike, but left the band to be a full-time actor.
If the internet rumors are to be believed, Victoria Justice is set to move to "Ravenswood" later this fall when the "Pretty Little Liars" spin-off makes its debut. In fact, the project even landed a spot on her IMDb page. However, according to the actress/singer, her bags aren’t packed, and she has no plans to board a flight to the highly anticipated ABC Family soap.
"I’m not. I’m actually not," she told MTV News of the reported role. "I don’t know. I was in talks for it, but it ended up not working out for whatever reason. I think it’s a great project, and I wish them luck with it, but I’m not attached."
Demi Lovato is celebrating summer lovin' in the teaser for her "Made In The USA" video, slated for release on July 17.
The visual shows a couple watching a sunset, a young woman riding in a car with the wind blowing through her hair, and the final shot of the teaser is of a smiling Demi. Before the clip premieres, we here at Hollywood Crush decided to round up what we know about the video...so far.
They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, so maybe that's why we're pining for Taylor Lautner this week. As he preps his return to the big screen in "Grown Ups 2," out Friday, we're naming the former "Twilight" star this week’s Hump Day Hottie.
Check out this dreamy photo of Taylor, and keep reading for more details about him!
Vital stats: This 21-year-old grew up right outside Grand Rapids, Michigan. And, as the legend goes, got his start in the world of karate. Soon he was competing in various competitions. Eventually, upon the insistence of the Blue Power Ranger (and founder of Xtreme Martial Arts), Michael Chaturantabut, Taylor looked into acting.
At the end of the season four of "The Vampire Diaries," the game completely changed. And, we mean, like, everything about everything we knew about our favorite characters became way different. (SPOILERS AHEAD IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE EPISODE!)
During the season finale, the kids graduated. Stefan became bad boy demon, Silas. Katherine (whom Nina Dobrev promises will be as naughty as ever) crossed over to the human side. And Bonnie died, giving her love and Elena’s only relative, Jeremy, another chance at life.
So it would seem given Bonnie’s fate, fans may not see much of her come season five. But, Kat Graham is holding out hope that this isn't the last we've seen of the witch. She told MTV News at the BET Awards last Sunday, “Basically we're getting ready for the fifth season, so I don’t really know. I ended the last season dead, so it’s kind of up to them where it’s going to go. I don’t really know.”
Avan Jogia is not a bad looking guy, even if he's currently playing a really bad boy on ABC Family's new series "Twisted." Sure, he might actually be twisted on the show, but he is just so easy on the eyes that we’re almost willing to forgive the actor behind the role for inhabiting it so well. Also, that's why he's this week's Hump Day Hottie.

Vital stats: 21-year-old Avan grew up in British Columbia, Canada. (Happy belated Canada Day!) The Vancouver native eventually left school to pursue acting full time. A gamble that has clearly paid off for him.
