With warmer temperatures just around the corner, most celebs are starting to put away their sexy leather looks until things cool off again. (Black leather leggings and 90-degree heat: not a good combo.) But as long as spring stays chilly, at least two of our favorite stars are still working their biker-chic aesthetic like a couple of bosses...or Style Superstars, as the case may be. Whose last-gasp leather look slayed us this week?

No surprise here: this week's winning fashionista is Selena Gomez, who paused after an appearance on the "Late Show With David Letterman" to let fans feast their eyes on her Burberry trench coat and Brian Atwood boots. Selena is emerging as a serious style icon these days, and this look just further cements her trendsetter status: Footwear like this is hard to pull off, which just goes to show what a true-born Style Superstar Selena really is. Those boots are ridiculous and they look amazing on her, not least because she kept it simple with the matte black trench, natural makeup, and her long locks styled in casual, glossy waves—and no accessories, save for the esoteric touch of a teensy glittering jewel between her eyebrows.

Tiger EyesThe soon-to-be-released "Tiger Eyes" has long been our most anticipated book-to-movie adaptation that doesn't involve teenagers murdering each other in a televised tournament for public enjoyment, but there's been an infuriating dearth of promotional buzz and tease-y stuff leading up to the film's June release—leading Judy Blume fans everywhere to lie awake at night consumed by worry that something had gone horribly wrong, preventing the film from getting all the attention it deserved. But no more! Because there's a trailer! Finally! And best of all, it looks to be a completely wonderful and faithful adaptation of the beloved source material.

The film stars Willa Holland as Davey, a teenage girl whose family moves across the country to New Mexico after her father is killed. It's the beginning of a tremendous journey of self-discovery as Davey tries to cope with her grief, rebuild her life and negotiate the guilt she feels over her father's death—all while having her eyes opened to the struggles of other people against their own personal demons.

Bella ThorneThe literati radar is blowing up today with all kinds of exciting book news, and here's the latest bit: Bella Thorne, the 15 year-old superstar—who's already a familiar face on the Hollywood scene as a singer, dancer, actress, and model—is sinking her teeth into a slightly more cerebral piece of the entertainment biz, having officially made a multi-book deal with Random House for publication in 2014! Bella will co-write "Autumn Falls," a series of YA novels about a 14 year-old girl whose life changes after a chance encounter with magic.

Without any other details available, it's not clear yet whether this is going to be witchy-romantic magic à la "Beautiful Creatures," or fantastical epic magic à la "Harry Potter," or something else entirely (although we would like to point out that it's never too early to start hoping for a "Teen Witch"-style magical freestyle rap-off!).

At the world's most elite academy for athletic teens, the competition on the playing field is fierce...and the competition off it is even fiercer. That's the story behind the much-anticipated new YA novel "The Academy: Game On"—the first book in the new series by Monica Seles (the international tennis superstar who's also an alumna of a hardcore sports training school, so you know she knows what she's talking about!). And today, we've got an EXCLUSIVE first look at the trailer, which promises all the juicy scandal of a great boarding-school drama plus the added twist of a young tennis star's Cinderella story.

The premise: Maya, a gifted young tennis star, gets the chance of a lifetime when her skills score her a scholarship to the world's most competitive school for aspiring athletes. But when she arrives, she discovers that her ability to wield a racket is the least of her worries; the school is a hotbed of conflicts that center on everything from wealth to romance, and it's ruled over by a mean queen bee whose parents bought her way in. Will Maya be able to steer clear of the drama and focus exclusively on her goal of becoming a pro player? ...Uh, we hope not! That sounds so boring! Bring on the frenemy backstabbing and secret dorm sex!

Chloe MoretzFrom wearing a blood-splattered prom dress in "Carrie" to kicking ass in the "Kick-Ass" films, Chloë Grace Moretz is everywhere these days—including on the cover of the May issue of Nylon, where she's looking very spiffy indeed. And in an interview, the actress has offered up some interesting insights into the whys and hows behind her work.

For starters, there's a good reason why you'll only see Chloë on the big screen: She doesn't want you to feel too close to her.

"The thing with TV is, people almost see you as a family member. You're in their house every week, and you're young and innocent," she explained. "But if you're 19 or 20, playing 15, and trying to transition into your sexuality, people are going to be like, 'No, no, you're my younger sister!' Whereas for an actor in movies, there's a distance. They have to travel to the theater to see you."

Emma WatsonThe internet being what it is, we give it...oh, another five seconds, tops, before someone has created an amazing gifset of Emma Watson's deadpan delivery of "The Bling Ring" trailer's most iconic line: "I want to rob."

Seriously, it's fabulous. But in the meantime, you can still enjoy Emma's blithe bad-girl moment just as the producers intended: by watching the trailer itself on a continuous loop all morning long! (That is what we're supposed to be doing, right?) The new look at Sofia Coppola's film about a group of wily teenage thieves is out now (via Yahoo!), trading in the flashy montage of the first teaser trailer for some slightly more detailed delving into the characters' motivations and the movie's main plot.

The first wave pulled the plug. The second wave stirred the oceans. And the third wave? Let's just say that the delightful trills of chirping springtime birds won't seem so delightful when you find out what those winged little monsters are carrying along with them...as you will soon find out, when you watch the EXCLUSIVE third trailer for Rick Yancey's "The 5th Wave." The latest bit of buzz for this hotly anticipated alien apocalypse novel is right here, the middle piece in a madly exciting campaign leading up to the book's May 7 release.

With comparisons already being drawn between Rick Yancey's latest and epic shattered-world works like "The Stand" and "The Passage," "The 5th Wave" is ready and waiting to be your new survivalist obsession; it's like "The Walking Dead" meets "The Hunger Games," with a side of little green men. In it, a 16 year-old girl named Cassie finds herself one of the last ones standing after a multi-tier alien invasion kills off 90 percent of the world—leaving her to wander the wasted, silent highways of Ohio in a quest to find and rescue her little brother. But she's not alone; among the human survivors of the invasion, there are traitorous agents tasked with killing everyone left alive...and by the time you figure out who they are, you'll probably already be dead.

If the longish, loose, shoulder-grazing bob wasn't already this spring's hottest haircut, it certainly is now! None other than Jennifer Lawrence stepped out at the GLAAD Awards this weekend with her honey-colored tresses in a freshly cropped, layered 'do with breezy sideswept bangs. It's a pretty major change for the actress, who's been sporting long, wavy locks a la Farrah Fawcett ever since she came on the Hollywood scene—and you know what, we think it looks fabulous.

See the look from every angle by clicking on the photo above!

But knowing that the public doesn't always love it when their favorite stars make a drastic style change, let's take it to the polls! Is Jennifer's new hairdo a trendsetting winner that'll inspire Emma-Watson's-pixie levels of copycat chops? Or do you wish she'd left her tresses bigger, long and uncut?

Although we love a pretty dress or glam gown as much as the next guy, there's something extra sexy and stylish about a woman who can rock some menswear—as evidenced by not one, but two of Hollywood's finest femme fatales having put on their party pants this week. One of them is our Style Superstar; the other is...well, something, anyway. Who's legging it out in our fashion feature?

First up: It's Carey Mulligan, who pre-empted what's sure to be a seriously glamorous series of Gatsby-related appearances with a striking androgynous look at the Tiffany and Co. Blue Book Ball. With her hair in a platinum pompadour and her face kept very bare, Carey traded her usual feminine style for something that looks straight out of Tilda Swinton's closet —and we looooooove it. This Victoria Beckham tuxedo with a down-to-there plunge neckline is so flattering on her, and the cutaway sleeves add a chic edge to the otherwise classic silhouette.

The Beginning of EverythingMove over, vampire boyfriends! Check yourself, dystopian dramas! The big exciting thing in YA lit today is a lovely, funny break from the bleak and bloody stuff we've been reading lately: our EXCLUSIVE cover reveal for Robyn Schneider's "The Beginning of Everything." Because sometimes, y'all, you need to put down the end-of-the-world stuff and just enjoy a sunny yellow novel with a rollercoaster motif. Wheee!

This is the author's first turn as a writer for teens, but she's 100 percent plugged in to all the loves of the young literati: Robyn is a pro vlogger and proud radio commentator for Doctor Who Online, and she's super-fun and funny. And in her YA debut, she tackles a story in which a devastating accident sends a young tennis star on a surprising new path—one full of old friends, new love and a peculiarly intimate acquaintance with hospital food.
