Daniel CraigOf all the fantabulous nominees at this year's MTV Movie Awards, there's one category of performers whom we're watching particularly closely. And by "closely," we mean "on a continuous loop, drooling, with a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door." Yes, we're talking about the Best Shirtless Performance oeuvre—a contingent of exquisite manly men who made a special impression in this year's films when they put their, um, acting skills on full, glorious, quivering display.

The 2013 nominees are a veritable buffet of sexy (or, in certain cases, fuzzy) pectorals: Channing Tatum ("Magic Mike"), Christian Bale ("The Dark Knight Rises"), Daniel Craig ("Skyfall"), Seth MacFarlane ("Ted") and Taylor Lautner ("The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2"). But before we get down to the rock hard business of awarding the Golden Popcorn for shirtless supremacy, we're doing a daily retrospective featuring each nominee's finest shirtless performances over the years. And today's hot-bodied beefcake? It's Craig. Daniel Craig.

Although British agent James Bond is perhaps best known for his ability to wear the hell out of a finely cut suit, Daniel Craig has additionally distinguished himself in the role by wearing the hell out of his finely cut abs. And with a torso like this, there's no question that he's a leading contender for the win. Just look at all the fine sights in our collection of his top topless moments.

Mekhi PhiferThe "Divergent" movie is officially off and running—production began yesterday in Chicago, which will be transformed into a crumbling dystopian metropolis by the time we see it on the big screen!—but it's never too late to add a new cast member or two.

Variety reported late Monday that Mekhi Phifer has joined the flick, with Veronica Roth chiming in via blog to confirm that he'll be playing yet another member of the Dauntless faction. We're gonna have trouble keeping track of all these Dauntlesses, yo. This is a LOT of Dauntlesses.

Kaya ScodelarioEver since casting began on the film adaptation for dystopian sci-fi thriller "The Maze Runner," all the cute British actors of a certain age seem to be getting snatched up to star as members of the slapdash tribe of survivalist lads who are known in the story as "Gladers." Which means that for the next several months, lucky lady Kaya Scodelario is going to be where the boys are—literally.

Although there's been no official casting announcement, director Wes Ball spilled the beans that the English "Skins" star is on board to play Teresa, the lone girl who changes everything when she appears in the story's titular maze. The news first broke via Wes' Twitter account, where he enthused about Kaya's awesome on-screen chemistry with Aml Ameen; Kaya then confirmed the news herself, with a big thank you to fans for supporting her bid to be in the movie.

The voting has only been open a few days in our social media-driven MTV Movie Awards "Best Hero" category, but it's already clear that this fight for heroic supremacy will come down to a battle between two fierce fandoms: The K-Stewards and the Bilbros. (Yes, we just made those up. Yes, you may immediately put them into universal circulation on the internet.) As we speak, Kristen Stewart in her role as Snow White is just barely edging out Martin Freeman as the hairy-footed Mr. Baggins for the win—separated by a mere 5,000 votes or so. And the Baggins is gaining on her, precious, oh yes! Gainingggggg!

A reminder: Best Hero is the only category at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards for which you can vote exclusively on Twitter and Instagram, by tagging your posts with the hashtag promoting your particular favorite on-screen super-friend. And whether you #votesnowwhite, #votebilbo, or vote against hope that Iron Man might have a late-game comeback and soundly trounce errbody, now's your chance to throw in for your personal hero's right to take home the Golden Popcorn. Hash those tags, people, and tune in on April 14 to find out who wins!

IconsIn just one short month, that big empty space you cleared on your bookshelf to accommodate Margaret Stohl's YA series, "Icons," will finally be filled...at least for a second, anyway, since you'll probably want to see how pretty it looks in your library before you snatch it back off the shelf and consume the whole thing in one literary sitting.

The best-selling co-author of "Beautiful Creatures" is bringing out a new sci-fi romance on May 7—one that features twisty love triangles, mysterious alien entities and a group of teenagers who discover that their dangerously uncontrollable emotions might just be the symptom of something supernatural. (YEAH. Take that, everyone who said it was "just hormones"!)

And if you have been waiting anxiously to sink your teeth into Margaret's new series, then here's your first, EXCLUSIVE chance to get a taste of exactly what you've been waiting for: We have the first six chapters right here, right now, for your sneak-peeky pleasure. Are you ready to live through the day when the power went off, the windows shattered and one billion people died? To meet Dol, the heroine of "Icons," who lives in the California countryside and is tortured by nightmares beyond her control? And Ro, her hunky, rule-breaking BFF? Yeah you are. Enjoy!

Kevin ZegersHere's the most heartwarming thing you'll read all day: Kevin Zegers, who just got engaged to longtime girlfriend Jaime Feld, explaining to ET Canada (via People) just how he orchestrated his big plans to put a ring on it:

"I designed [the ring] and did a specific movie to pay for [it]," he said.

How adorable (and financially responsible!) is that?! We think we can guess which movie, too—seeing as he's one of the star Shadowhunters in the upcoming movie adaptation of "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones."

Rosario Dawson is, alas, one of the stylish celebs whom we don't see nearly enough on the red carpet. But when she does emerge? She kills it. Exhibit A: her latest look, from the New York premiere of her new movie, "Trance," which is an exercise in Style Superstar-worthy perfection.

Rosario's statuesque silhouette was beautifully flattered by this sophisticated Bottega Veneta dress, with blouson sleeves, a leather belt and an asymmetrical zip accent that keeps the pretty pink look from veering into twee territory. The dusty rose shade is great on her, too—as are the mauve patent pumps that finish off the look, an unexpected touch that's also a great example of Rosario's uncanny style intuition. Most people would've gone with a boring neutral shoe, but not our Superstar!

The Hollywood Reporter has the news (via creator Ryan Murphy's Twitter) that Katey Sagal, best known for her roles on "Sons of Anarchy" and "Married... With Children" has signed on to play the role of Artie's mom in season four. (Bonus: Kevin McHale, who plays Artie, was the first one to float the actress' name as his ideal on-screen mother. Congrats, Kevin, on winning the mom of your dreams!)

You'd better watch your behinds, cinema fans. Because the 2013 MTV Movie Awards are less than two weeks away, and as Percy Jackson would say...

Hey, wait a minute. Percy Jackson doesn't have a catchphrase?! Well, that's not okay! Thank everything for MTV's Josh Horowitz and this week's After Hours feature "Logan's Slogans," in which we got the son of Poseidon himself, Logan Lerman, to visit our studios and try a few quips, witticisms, and outright threats on for size. With our help, Percy Jackson will soon be a thoroughly quotable bad-ass in the proud tradition of the Terminator or John McClane!
