Finding your soul mate is no easy task (just ask Carrie Bradshaw!), so what if you could have a clock implanted in your wrist to literally countdown to the days when you will meet The One? It sounds quite absurd, but can you imagine how much pressure it would relieve?
In the romantic dramedy "Timer," which opens in New York City May 14, those magical clocks do exist, only Oona's (Emma Caulfield) "heart monitor" — if you will — is blank ... as in her soul mate doesn't have one. Her race to find predetermined love, of course, turns into a, well, blind obstacle course. In our exclusive clip below, you can witness why Oona's so anxious to settle down: her mom (JoBeth Williams) has hired a matchmaker!
What do you get when you mix one hot couple, one stylish teen, a Maverick, two A-Teamers and a past VMA's host in one room? The best MTV Movie Awards ever, of course!
A new list of presenters for the 2010 MTV Movie Awards (airing live June 6 from the Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City, Calif.) was announced today and it includes, Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, Miranda Cosgrove, Tom Cruise, Bradley Cooper, Jessica Biel and Russell Brand.
Two days after the fearless leader, er director, of the fourth movie in the "Twilight Saga," "Breaking Dawn," was finally announced, Bill Condon came out of the Hollywood woodwork to release an important statement: a letter to "Twilight" fans in which he makes it clear just how devoted to the franchise he is. (Some examples: he's always been "slightly obsessed with vampires," he has read "BD" twice already and he a huge admirer" of Kristen, Rob and Taylor)
While there are still a few key details to be decided about "BD" (will it be two movies? Will it be 3-D? Will Renesmee be CGI?), Bill's note was a great starting off point for his upcoming journey. He obviously wants to make sure the many, many, many Twilighters out there are on board every step of the way, and that's something we are psyched to hear!

You've already seen the exciting newborn vampire army water park still earlier this week, thanks to our exclusive reveal, but we couldn't let you commence your weekend with out one more look at "Eclipse."
The newest official Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) still takes us to a moment we saw in the movie's first trailer in which Bella asks, "why are you so against me becoming like you?" Edward replies, "I know the consequences of the choice you're making." Cue dramatic music... and scene!

Yesterday, we showed you a few awesome pictures of Khloe Kardashian when she was a troublemaking teen, but today, we're turning our attention to celebrity gossip blogger extraordinaire, Perez Hilton. The two of them — along with Trey Songz — are the first artists to be spotlighted in MTV's new show "When I Was 17," which premieres tomorrow morning (May 1) at 11a.m. ET/PT.
We don't want to give anything away from Perez's teenage tales of mixtapes and obsessions with folk singers, so instead, we came up with a nifty quiz to keep you guessing what the infamous blogger was really like long before he became the "queen of all media."

Whether you're 17 right now, so far out of high school you can't even remember what "geometry" means or still a freshman trying to get asked to prom — you can probably relate to the powerful and angsty era called teenage-dom. When it comes to celebrities and their adolescent years, however, boy, do they have some great stories to tell! Lucky for you, MTV compiled the best of these teenage tales into a new series called "When I Was 17," which premieres this Saturday (May 2) at 11a.m. ET/PT.
Every episode will focus on three artists and will highlight everything from family, friends, first loves, cars, jobs — you name it, no subject was off limit! Raven-haired (well, back then she was blonde!) reality star, Khloe Kardashian will be profiled in episode 1, and while we don't want to give anything away from the hilarious stories she shares, we have a fun game to get you excited for the nostalgia coming your way!

Earlier today, we reported that when it came to her physical appearance in her summer flick, "Beastly," Vanessa Hudgens wanted to look anything but beauty-like. "I made a point to not look put-together," she told MTV News. "I was trying to make [my hair] look messier and messier."
We appreciate her dedication to the role and all, but now that we've gotten time to look closely at the EXCLUSIVE still (yay Summer Movie Preview Week!) above, we've got to say, she's looking quite the opposite of what she claimed, and instead well-coiffed and adorable. As for the token "beast," Alex Pettyfer, it seems that in this scene, his colorful veins and "imperfections" are starting to grow on Vanessa's Lindy — she's totally smitten.
What do you think is going in in this moment? Are you getting more excited to see "Beastly"?
First a new "True Blood" cast poster and now a scoop straight from Eric Northman's mouth? Yes, "True Blood" fans, you are going to be in major debt to us soon enough!
During our time with the hunk-of-a-man Alexander Skarsgard at the Tribeca Film Festival (he was there promoting his new animated movie, "Metropia"), we wouldn't let him escape from our clutches until he gave us something juicy about the return of our beloved HBO series. The result? Well, since he's made it clear the season was about vengeance for him, we asked pointedly how his daddy Ulfrick plays into that storyline. He was left a tad speechless.
Now this is one forest we're dying to visit! So much is happening in the official (!!) "True Blood" season 3 poster that we don't even know where to begin!
There's a (were)wolf glaring through Eric's (Alexander Skarsgard) arm; a large snake looking like Sookie (Anna Paquin) is its prey (though good 'ole Bill is protecting her); Jason (Ryan Kwanten) is staring mysteriously at Lafeyette (Nelsan Ellis); Jessica's (Deborah Ann Woll) being a total sexpot and Pam's (Kristin Bauer), well, definitely thirsty — but we think her presence in the picture proves the ante has been upped for her character in season 3.
What clues about the season did you see in the "True Blood" poster? Is there anyone you are surprised was included or left out?
In what was perhaps once of the best moments in the second "Eclipse" trailer, we saw Victoria's (Bryce Dallas Howard) newborn army ominously follow her right-hand man, Riley (Xavier Samuel), into a body of water and then suddenly emerge on the other side with the stern look of vengeance in their eyes.
If you've been thinking about that scene ever since you watched the trailer on Friday (and no doubt on a continuous loop over the weekend), then get ready to be chilled all over again! In honor of Summer Movie Preview Week here on MTV News, we're bringing you an EXCLUSIVE new still from "Eclipse"!
