Have I ever mentioned how odd it is meeting someone you used to have an action figure of?"
Whether or not you're on your way to Comic-Con, you can still give a listen to Katy Perry's latest super-catchy tune (which of her songs aren't though?), "Teenage Dream." Last night Katy joked about the cover (pictured), "My alternate album cover for Teenage Dream... Are you glad I went with the 1st? http://twitpic.com/27qbi7." But, she was all business today writing, "My new song, 'TEENAGE DREAM' just invaded airwaves! It's on ITUNES today!" The song already found a fan in actress Kat Dennings who tweeted, "@katyperry 'Teenage Dream' makes me wanna fall in love...damn this girl writes the hits!

MTV News is getting ready to transplant itself to San Diego for Comic-Con 2010 (which begins on Thursday, July 22) and you know what that means, right? Yup: we have plenty of exclusive content and breaking news coming your way!
To commence our annual pilgrimage to the land of celebrities and entertainment-loving geeks alike, we have one giant announcement we'd like you to take special note of: MTV.com has partnered with MySpace to bring interactive (and international!) access to the convention! What exactly does that mean, you ask? Well, for starters: Live broadcasts from the "MySpace & MTV Tower" at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, exclusive first looks at upcoming projects and many-a-celebrity interview.
(MORE SPECIFICS ARE AFTER THE JUMP!)
Comic-Con is right around the corner, and though there will be no "Twilight" (well at least in full effect like the past), there is still plenty to be looking forward to! There's the "True Blood" and "Vampire Diaries" panels, an extended look at "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" and — nerdgasm — "Thor," "Tron Legacy" and (fingers crossed) some news on "Batman 3."
But what's even more exciting about the new array of films, TV shows and, of course, comic books at this year's convention is how much of a girls show it is. We aren't talking about the influx of "Twilight" fans per se, but there's definitely been a move to be more girl-friendly at San Diego's famous convention. We aren't just talking about the fans, either. There are quite a few actresses attending this year that we never thought would grace the halls of the San Diego Convention Center.
