Can it really be?! Our boy wizard is all grown up!
Yes, Daniel Radcliffe turns 21 today — and just in time. The British actor is headed to Broadway early next year to star in "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," meaning he'll legally be able to hit the bars with his castmates for a post-show night cap.
Of course, the legal drinking age across the pond is 18, so Dan has been pub-eligible for years, including the night he wrapped shooting on "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," bringing a decade worth of work on the franchise to a close.
This weekend was bound to be exciting for Selena Gomez, considering that she's turning 18 on Saturday. But the fact that her first big movie, "Ramona and Beezus," is opening tomorrow, well, that's just icing on the cake. Or, icing on the cupcake, rather.
Selena got a giant cupcake in honor of her big day while backstage at "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" last night. It was a nice precursor to Saturday's festivities, which Selena told MTV News would involve swimming and grilling — in other words, a perfect summer party.
Happy Birthday, Steven R. McQueen! The "Vampire Diaries" actor turns the big 22 today. We hope he has fun celebrating the double deuce in Atlanta, where production on the second season of "The Vampire Diaries" began yesterday.
Yesterday was a "Vampire Diaries"-heavy news day, with Julie Plec linking to the brand new "VD" TV Guide magazine cover and Ian Somerhalder tweeting a picture of his script from the first table read of season 2, revealing the title of the premiere episode: "The Return."
We hope Sophia Bush is able to take some time out from her busy do-gooder schedule to celebrate her 28th birthday today! The "One Tree Hill" star has recently been using her fame in the best way possible: advocating for the Gulf Coast as it is ravaged by the BP oil spill. But even environmental activists deserve some cake!
Sophia hasn't been spending all her free time championing good causes, just most of it — she and boyfriend Austin Nichols recently took a trip to Grand Isle, Louisiana to assess some of the oil spill damage. As for her day job, the actress spent some time recently filming the romantic comedy "Chalet Girl" (which co-stars Ed Westwick and involves skiing in the Alps — we're so there), and will begin shooting the eighth season of "One Tree Hill" on Wednesday.
It's looks like 2010 is shaping up to be a year of milestones for Ashley Tisdale. First off, today's her birthday and she's turning the big 2-5. Now, this might not seem like a big deal to some, but trust us, joining the rank of the mid-20s is pretty major (Forever 21 no more — literally we mean. She can totally still shop at the mecca of clothes!).
Of course, Ashley doesn't have much reason to go into early-life crisis mode. As one of the stars of "High School Musical" and more recently the new flick,"Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure," (which will be wrapping up tomorrow according to her Twitter) Ashley's already got a pretty long list of accomplishments behind her.
In honor of Elizabeth Reaser, a.k.a. Mama Cullen, celebrating her 35th birthday today (yes, way too young and gorgeous to pass for a mother of teenagers, we know), you should probably watch our fun video from this weekend's "Eclipse" interview bonanza that features Peter Facinelli and Nikki Reed paying Elizabeth a bunch of compliments.
Oh yeah, they also talk about the six weeks of fight training they all went through before "Eclipse," but we think it's much more important to pay a Birthday Girl some compliments on her special day. Especially since Elizabeth told MTV News that she never intended to do an action movie.

What better birthday present for an up-and-coming actress than a brand new hit show?! Well 2.5 million viewers made Lucy Hale’s wish come true when this birthday girl’s series debut of “Pretty Little Liars” premiered as the highest rated show in ABC family history last week.
Perhaps a frozen margarita or Carrie Bradshaw-like cosmo is all she needs to complete what must be the beginning of a fabulous 21st birthday!
Happy Birthday to Joshua Jackson! The man who brought us such epic performances as Charlie Conway in "The Mighty Ducks" flicks, Pacey Witter on "Dawson's Creek" (a boy who could seamlessly do any job: stock broker, chef, ship captain) and now week after week as the adorable Peter Bishop on "Fringe" (he, too, can do anything he sets his mind to: time travel, inter-dimensional espionage, whatever).
His real-life witty personality has kept us swooning for the 32 years he's been on this planet (yup, we were swooning even when we were in the womb!), and his looks have made him a Hollywood Crush favorite for ages now (or, uh, since the site's launch last year.).
"Twilight" star Nikki Reed will blow out 22 birthday candles today, and she has quite a lot to look forward to! There are just 43 days to go until "Eclipse" arrives, and the third movie in the saga is finally giving Nikki's Rosalie a chance to shine. "Kristen [Stewart] and I shot a really intense seven page scene where I was just pouring my heart and explaining why I am the way I am," Nikki said of filming her 1930s-centric scenes during last month's live Facebook chat. Rosalie, she added, is "not a one dimensional character."
Before we get to see those ill-fated flashbacks, however, Nikki and the rest of the cast will have a chance to fight for a few pounds of golden popcorn at the MTV Movie Awards. With five nominations — tying "Avatar" — "New Moon" is bound to take home some worthy awards. "It's wonderful," Nikki told MTV News of the nods last week. "[Especially] when you make a movie and you have absolutely zero expectations."

Unlike his character Edward Cullen, as Robert Pattinson turns another year older, he ages likewise.
We've watched our favorite Brit age from when he hit mainstream Hollywood at 19 years old in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" to today, when he turns 24. So what better way to celebrate his birthday than to show the world — and Rob! — what his future holds in store. Be warned, much hilarity lies in store after the jump.
