Just as everyone has an opinion, a favorite meal and a nose — albeit a fake one at times — so too does everyone have a birthday... even celebrities. Here at Birthday Bash, it's our mission to salute the fine actors, filmmakers and other Hollywood heroes that are celebrating their special day this week. After all, it's cheaper than mailing a cake!

This week, we're singing Happy Birthday to two notable musicians, while an Oscar-nominated actor also joins in on the fun.

Zac Efron (October 18): Whether you're still in high school or way past that era, you're undoubtedly familiar with the "High School Musical" franchise, which features the vocal stylings of one of Birthday Bash's latest subjects, Zac Efron. The singer-actor turned 22 years-old on October 18, putting Zac well past high school age and on the precipice of a young actor's Hollywood career path.

This week brings a birthday cake to a "Beverly Hills, 90210" resident, the world's fastest-healing superhero and a celebrated rock-and-roll musician.

Luke Perry (October 11): Even if "90210" is back on the small screen with Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling reprising their famous '90s-era roles, the absence of Luke Perry as Dylan McKay is tough to ignore. Perry — who nailed the bad boy persona that made "Beverly Hills, 90210" so intriguing during its ten year run — might not be on the current incarnation of the show, but his status as the father of Kelly's child leaves some hope amongst fans that he'll return eventually.

But this isn't about our birthday wishes, is it? If Perry chooses not to return to his old stomping grounds, there's plenty of potential for him elsewhere thanks to celebrated turns on HBO's "Oz" and "John from Cincinnati," among other acting gigs. Read More...

This week brings celebrations for a not-so-mean girl and an amnesiac action hero. Plus, you'll believe a man can fly — and enjoy a birthday cake, too!

Rachel McAdams (October 7): Whether you know her for "Wedding Crashers" or "Mean Girls" — heck, whether you're male or female — chances are exceptionally high that you've fallen in love with Rachel McAdams in one form or another. The sweet faced actress can easily dabble between mean-spirited and happy-go-lucky, with a whole range of emotions in between.

This week, the celebration is on for the newest and possibly craziest addition to "Melrose Place," one of the cinema's biggest (but funniest) jerks and "Iron Man's" main squeeze.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz (October 3): Surrounded by a circle of famous and talented musicians like sister Jessica and husband Pete Wentz, it's no wonder that Ashlee Simpson-Wentz herself has experienced some success of her own. Between her singing career and her burgeoning acting career, Ashlee is undoubtedly as well-known as her rockstar husband and pop-singing sibling.

This week, we're busting out the cake Hogwarts style for a bad boy wizard, a blockbuster movie star and a former "Lost" native.

Tom Felton (September 22): Best known as Draco Malfoy, the menacing wizard-in-training and Harry Potter's greatest nemesis (in his peer group, that is), Tom Felton has cast a spell the world over thanks to his bad boy charms and riveting performance in the latest "Potter" film, "The Half-Blood Prince."

This week, we're singing "Happy Birthday" to two television stars and a young musician who'd probably wince at our amateur singing!

Nick Jonas (September 16): As the youngest member of the Jonas Brothers, guitarist and vocalist Nick Jonas is also one of the most well-rounded. He has acted in several musicals including "Annie Get Your Gun," "Beauty and the Beast" and "Les Miserables," and still has had time for his own musical career. Read More...

This week, we're busting out the candles for a successful actress and singer, Felicity's true love and none other than The One himself!

Beyoncé Knowles (September 4): Granted, her role as Foxy Cleopatra in "Austin Powers in Goldmember" wasn't exactly award-winning material, but Beyoncé Knowles has since proven herself on the big screen in "Dreamgirls" and "Cadillac Records." Of course, Beyoncé is best known for her musical career, and rightly so. I can't say I'm her number one fan, but that doesn't mean I can shake off the catchiness of tunes like "Irreplaceable" and "Single Ladies"! Read More...

This week, the party is on for a a Star Fleet captain, a budding wizard and a young New York socialite.
