Last year, she threw a barbecue to celebrate her big 18th birthday and this year, it seems, that Selena Gomez is kicking it low key for her 19th birthday.
"I think my mom has planned something for me," the actress/singer told E! News earlier this week. "I didn't really ask for anything, so I'm basically just going to be at tour rehearsal during the day. Maybe go to dinner at night with my family. Pretty boring."

Robert Pattinson has been a very busy boy lately, traipsing all over the globe to promote his circus-centric drama "Water for Elephants." He's been so busy, in fact, that we bet the "Twilight" star didn't even have time to plan proper festivities for his very special day. The big 2-5 is an auspicious event indeed (quarter-life crisis time AND car rental eligibility...woo!), and we wouldn't want this day to pass without Rob really enjoying himself. As we're wont to do here at Hollywood Crush, we've come up with the perfect to-do list for Mr. Pattinson's 25th with, of course, accompanying Photoshoppery.
Rob will probably start off his day by taking new dog, Bear, out for a lovely morning constitutional—introducing him to his other animal love, Tai the Elephant. The meeting will so inspire Rob that he will pen a script for the 2014 blockbuster "The Pachyderm and the Pup."

Today, James Franco, our generation's most renaissance of renaissance men, turns 33! He's an actor, artist, filmmaker, student, writer and all-around mystery wrapped in an enigma. Did we mention he's also a hottie? We assume that last part goes without saying.
As his 33rd year of existence rolls around, it seems that the former "Freaks and Geeks" star is busier than ever. This year already he's hosted the Oscars, been nominated for an Oscar and released his comedy "Your Highness." He also debuted the video art piece "Three's Company The Drama" and helmed two videos for REM.
And what's on his to-do list? James plans to return to "General Hospital," playing a shady performance artist, will star in the dark flick, "Maladies," and this summer will show us all how the apes just got so smart in "Rise of The Planet of The Apes."

A very happy birthday goes out to our favorite fashionista, Emma Watson, who turns 21 today!
As you all well know, turning 21 is a pretty big deal in American culture (though to be fair, Emma has been able to do all of this stuff in the UK since she was 18), but we thought it would be a bit more fair to compare Emma coming of age as a muggle to coming of age as a wizard. If you know anything about our "Harry Potter" bias (or at least mine), you can probably guess which direction this one is heading.

Oh, to be a fly on this wall! Kristen Stewart celebrated her big 2-1 with "Twilight" co-star and beau Robert Pattinson over the weekend. The duo, along with guests (like Taylor Lautner) all hung out at Rockwell's Bar & Grill in Squamish, British Columbia on Saturday night (the actual day of her birth, for those wondering).
"Rob led the crowd singing for her, and you could tell she was so embarrassed but in a cute way!" a source told Us Weekly. "Everyone was in a good mood, but it was a bittersweet night [as filming is almost complete]."

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
Saoirse Ronan is so stone-faced and serious in her upcoming thriller "Hanna" (out tomorrow), we'd almost forgotten that she's not really a trained assassin with mad martial arts skills and a long list of people to kill. But look! Here she is, looking every bit the giddy 17 year-old, in this photo from the film's premiere party—where director Joe Wright carted out a giant chocolate cake as a surprise treat for the star's birthday.
Saoirse reportedly shrieked with delight at (what is, admittedly) the world's most gorgeous cake, while a crowd that included Eric Bana, Keri Russell, Lake Bell and "Skins" stars Danny Flaherty and Britne Oldford sang "Happy Birthday." She looks so joyous and innocent, we almost believe that she didn't murder half a dozen people immediately after this picture was taken!
...Almost.

A birthday spent browsing luxury leather goods and carbo-loading? Has Justin Bieber been reading our diary? The pop star celebrated his 17th year alongside girlfriend (it's official, right?) Selena Gomez, shopping at high-end retailers Louis Vuitton and D&G. And while expensive handbags have been known to incite lust in more than a few women, Sel only had eyes for Justin as the two were snapped in a steamy embrace.
After their day at the mall, the twosome recharged with a dinner at Maggiano's Little Italy in L.A. before zooming away in Justin's Yankee-Candle-air-freshener-scented ride. (My mom uses those too!) Justin later tweeted, "great bday. flew in grandma and got my cake. hung out with friends. got surprised. and you all helped #makeachange with @charitywater."

It's hard to believe, but Justin Bieber is entering the final stretch of his onward march to full-blown manhood. The pop star turns 17 today, closing the door on a great year that was full of world touring, huge hits, photo shoots, TV cameos, and non-stop featuredom in the pages of Tiger Beat—not to mention the release of his documentary "Never Say Never"! But while some people might be suffering from Bieber Fatigue, we're on tenterhooks as we wonder what Justin can possibly do in the coming year to top his stratospheric rise to fame at 16.
Well, wonder no more! Because using the advanced features of Photoshop our office-issued time machine, we stayed up until 3am drinking TAB traveled into the future to get some great shots of what's in store for the Biebs in his 17th year. Behold Bieber as he wins a Grammy award! Thrill as he launches himself into space! Wonder at his "Breaking Dawn" cameo. Seethe with jealousy as he ties the knot with girlfriend Selena Gomez! (Assuming he can get parental permission, of course.)

The lovely and talented Dakota Fanning turns 17 today, and here at Hollywood Crush, that means just one thing: reading her Wikipedia page, stuffing our faces with Twinkies and feeling really, reeeeeeally insecure about what we've accomplished in life.
Oh, and also, a celebratory look at what's next for the poised and prolific actress who's pretty positioned to become the next Meryl Streep. (Okay, yeah, let's do that first; the self-hatred and sobbing can happen later.)
Dakota has already proved her chops as a versatile powerhouse of an artist—in 2010 alone, she wowed us as an iconic rockstar in "The Runaways" and a member of "The Twilight Saga's reigning vampire royalty. But while most girls in her position would take a well-deserved birthday break to relax, recharge and bask in the warm glow of raging success, this one isn't slowing down; in fact, she's booked for three major roles in the coming year.

February is supposed to be the cruelest month, but there's at least one bright spot in all this raw cold and wintry slush: the day of Taylor Lautner's birth! The shapeshifter-representing hottie turns 19 today, marking the end of a great big year for his burgeoning career. Not only is Taylor wrapping up filming on the final installment of "The Twilight Saga," but he's set to play his first strictly human role in the dramatic thriller "Abduction," which is coming out this fall.
So of course, being as it's Taylor's birthday, we got a present.
For ourselves.
The Hollywood Crush method of celebrating this joyous occasion: a glorious photo montage of the actor through the years, showcasing his most photogenic moments in the celebrity spotlight. It's a veritable smorgasbord of brilliant white teeth, adorable dimples and well-tailored suits on the boy's uber-hot bod—the only notable tragedy being that we didn't get our hands on any of the many photos that show off his much-talked-about muscles. Oops! Guess we'll just have to pop in our "New Moon" DVD and watch all of Taylor's shirtless scenes in super slo-mo.
