Much like Miley Cyrus' cameo in the sequel to "Sex and the City: The Movie" was once one a big mystery, we've now unearthed details about another thespian's (this time it's an Academy Award winner!) guest stint.
In October, People reported that Penelope Cruz would be appearing in the film (which is slated to be released in 2010) as a banker, and while we can't exactly confirm if her financial abilities are going to be highlighted, we can shed more light on the logistics behind her part. "I'm in it for very, very little time," she told MTV News during a press event for her next film "Nine." "It's a collaboration that I did because I am a huge fan of the show and the movie and Sarah Jessica Parker."

When Kate Hudson isn’t busy being a mom, making musicals (she'll next be starring in the anticipated musical ensemble, "Nine") or melting hearts in romantic comedies, she is spending her down time canoodling with Yankees all-star Alex Rodriguez. The Hollywood A-Lister has been dating the baseballer for about five months now, and supposedly her lazy mornings are rumored to be spent in the presence of "A-Rod the Centaur" (uh...what?!).
US Weekly recently reported that the infamous baseball player has two portraits of himself as half-man, half-human hanging in his home. When confronted about the bizarre rumors by MTV News' Josh Horowitz, Kate laughed and said she refused to “indulge in those types of stories.” While she admitted that it was the craziest question anyone had ever asked her, Kate made it clear that “as funny as you might think they are,” she would not take any part in confirming or denying silly rumors.
So the question still remains. Does the manly and talented Yankee have pictures of himself as a centaur? The world may never know.
There's been some nostalgia over here at MTV as we take a look back to a year ago when "Twilight" was still on the brink of becoming a hit. MTV News conducted its first interview of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart together in April 2008, and needless to say, you wouldn't hear her admit in a shy voice "I think he's really handsome" in any interviews nowadays.
The two admitted they had spent a lot of time together in pre-production because they were staying only two blocks away from one another.
"We sat around my dining room table for two entire nights and read the script," she said.

While all the "New Moon" stars strutted their glory at the L.A. premiere last night, one surprise red carpet appearance was Joan Jett of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts fame. Kristen Stewart will be portraying Joan in the upcoming film "The Runaways" (which also stars Dakota Fanning), and after working with Kristen on the film, Joan couldn't resist coming to the premiere.
"I'd obviously heard about ['Twilight'], but before she was cast as me, I hadn't seen it," Joan told MTV News' Larry Carroll on the red carpet at the "New Moon" L.A. premiere. "Of course, when she was cast as me, I wanted to see the movie, and I've seen everything she's done. I really enjoyed it. I thought it was really entertaining, and I'm excited that she was cast as me in 'The Runaways.'"

Amongst all the "New Moon" excitement, the future-seeing vamp known as Alice Cullen (real life Ashley Greene) has posed for Maxim magazine! The issue is set to hit newsstands on Nov. 17 and we know all you Twi-hards are pinching at the bit to get a hold of the issue. We showed you the cover yesterday and now MTV News has their hands on an exclusive outtake shot of Ms. Greene!

Ashley lays drenched in the sand as the sunlight strikes the water in the distance. With her pants unbuttoned and her shirt soaking wet, she gives us the girl next door gaze. For the "Twilight" crowd, it seems a tad risque, while not too revealing at the same time. However, compared a few of the past covers (including Audrina Patridge and Milla Jovovich), Ashley’s cover was surprisingly conservative — which is endearing to say the least. What’s better than a pure, down to earth girl?!
What do you think of Ashley’s exclusive shot? Was it over the top or just right?
Last week we brought you an exclusive look at "New Moon" star Robert Pattinson's audition for his pre-"Twilight" dramedy "How To Be". Today, we bring you the fruits of his labor—an exclusive sneak peek at the movie due out on DVD November 17.
In the film Rob plays a down-on-his-luck musician named Art, who after being dumped by his girlfriend, moves back in with his parents and hires a live-in self-help guru to cure his social awkwardness. The process is quite a vulnerable one as you'd expect, evidenced perfectly by this clip in which Art's oddball friend Nikki (Mike Pearce) invites a couple of girls over to help his glum mate forget about his ex. Nikki's one piece of advice to Art? "Don't be yourself." We're not sure who Art attempted to be in this scene, but it's certainly not our favorite dazzling vamp. Edward would never drop such a sad, pathetic (and sort of gross) pick-up line. Click play on the clip below to see Rob clear the room with his misguided attempt at romance.
What do you think about the clip? Are you planning on buying or renting "How To Be" when it comes out next week?
Before the premiere of the 35th season of "Saturday Night Live" in September, we compiled our top five dream host list for the upcoming year, nominating the likes of "Gossip Girl" star Leighton Meester and Captain Kirk himself, Chris Pine. Though Lorne has yet to take us up on any of our suggestions (we're trying not to take it personally, Mr. Michaels), the missing emcee we're most miffed about is "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson.
Obviously we're not the first to suggest the "New Moon" star host an episode of the sketch comedy show. Online petitions have been circulating for more than a year urging producers to bring the dashing Brit to the Studio 8H stage. And with last weekend's supremely funny "Firelight" Digital Short as a tantalizing tease, we don't doubt fan fervor has reached a near fever pitch. But it's really all for not if Rob doesn't want to host the show, right? When we asked the 23-year-old actor about it at a Beverly Hills press junket last week, he did not sound too keen on the idea.
"I don't know what the actual details of doing it is," Rob replied, "but I'm terrified of doing stuff like that."

We’ve got plenty of “New Moon” goodies set up for you over the next two weeks (yes, there are less than two weeks until “New Moon” hits theaters! But who's counting?). Earlier today we brought you backstage snapshots from Friday's junket, and now we've got more gems from that same event — Five facts your didn't know about the movie.
Our favorite on the list actually pulls from a scene in the trailer, where Bella (Kristen Stewart) is seen hitting wolf pack leader Sam Uley (Chaske Spencer). Apparently, even though Chaske has nine inches and (we’re guessing) over a hundred pounds on Kristen, she still left him black and blue after the 15 takes it took to get the shot.

After watching "The Ugly Truth," most viewers might be under the misconception that Katherine Heigl’s cool exterior throughout the movie was strong enough to withstand Gerard Butler’s usually winning charm. But in this exclusive behind-the-scenes blooper reel from the DVD and Blu-ray release (out tomorrow), you are able to catch a glimpse of the "Grey's" doc with her guard down, and even laughing with her costar! The sound of Kat’s laughter is actually a very rare thing in this movie, and viewers hardly can imagine this character enjoying any conversation with Gerard.
His character on the other hand, enjoys every conversation he has with any lady over the course of the movie, which is a characteristic that Gerard shares with his on-screen counter part. The Scottish actor, after all, is notorious for his womanizing behaviors (most recently he was reportedly seen kissing Lindsay Lohan). Watch Gerard do what he does best, work it with the ladies, in the below clip!
Over the past couple of weeks, MTV in-house "Twilight" expert Larry Carroll posted a series of interviews he did with the cast of "New Moon." Today the lucky guy is off interviewing the stars again (we will have more for you on that later!) but to try to make sense of the madness, we at Hollywood Crush have decided to pick our five favorite questions from his interviews for your reading pleasure. Sorry Billy Burke — you didn't quite make the cut!
KELLAN LUTZ
Q: What is the one question that you hope you never get asked again in an interview?
Kellan: Do I wear boxers or briefs? I think it's such a funny one, and there's always someone and they're usually older than 50 who asks that question.
