We're just one day away from our exclusive online and on-air premiere of the trailer for "Spring Breakers," and what better way to continue the countdown than with a shiny new photo of the lovely "Breakers" in question?
Behold, an EXCLUSIVE still of the film's four beautiful bikini-clad stars Ashley Benson, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens and Rachel Korine. Now, even though the girls seem to be happy and mugging for the camera here, this photo was taken from a scene in which our leading ladies find themselves tossed in a jail cell after a particularly long day and night of partying. And if you're thinking you've seen these bikinis before, you have. The starlets spend a decent portion of the movie in those swimsuits. (Must have made it easy for the wardrobe department, huh?)
After spending most of our high school years wishing we could snap our fingers and turn our class' reigning queen bee into a newt (what, like you didn't?), there's something terribly seductive and fun about the idea that somewhere, somehow, a gifted young witch could magically manipulate her own high school experience into, y'know, not sucking.
So we are seriously loving the wish-fulfillment aspects of Brittany Geragotelis' "What the Spell?", the new YA novel coming this month whose trailer we have the EXCLUSIVE pleasure of debuting today! So grab your pointy hat and broomstick, and let's all peep the exciting story of a teenage witch whose new-found abilities could either save her sophomore year...or condemn her to the sort of hellish self-sabotage that can only come from the misuse of one's supernatural powers. Magic is pesky that way.
Meet Brooklyn Sparks: a girl whose greatest sweet 16th birthday gift is the ability to finally access her magical birthright. Drunk on power, the young witch makes big plans to rule the school, get the guy, and forever banish all traces of her natural hair color—all while steering clear of the freaky high school A-group led by a mean girl named Gigi.
If you've been camping out front of your local movie theater, waiting for action-adventure alien romance "The Host" to finally make its appearance in theaters, you might want to take a brief detour to your local bookstore for the latest advance look at the film! (Go on, we'll hold your place in line.) That's where you'll find the amahhhhzing "The Host: The Official Illustrated Movie Companion," a big juicy paperback guide to the cinematic adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's sci-fi novel.
It's your chance to get an advance, in-depth look at how the sausage gets made...only better, because the making of sausage is an absolutely disgusting process involving ground meats and sheep intestines, whereas the making of this movie is all about cool locations and fancy sets and behind-the-scenes shots of Jake Abel looking all squinty and sexy in the desert sun.
All right you eager "Warm Bodies" movie fans you, how great is it that we're now less than a month away from the film's release? We've been amped up for this one ever since we heard that Isaac Marion's quirky, creative book was getting the big-screen treatment and then we visited the set and sneaked a peek at the first four minutes, and now to further celebrate the film's impending arrival, we'll be treating you to "Warm Bodies" exclusives for the next four weeks!
Today's treat is a brand-new clip from the film that finds us in the middle of zombie R and human Julie's getting-to-know-you phase. R (Nicholas Hoult) has just saved Julie (Teresa Palmer) from being eaten by his walking dead brethren and taken her to his home in an abandoned airplane. Unsurprisingly, Julie is really freaked out by the whole ordeal and doesn't understand why R saved her and whether or not she is being momentarily preserved for a zombie feast later.
From Norman Bates to Freddy Krueger, every great horror movie needs a really grim and grody villain to propel its story forward—and to keep the female cast members shrieking in terror for all 120 minutes of screen time. And in this cool behind-the-scenes look at "House at the End of the Street" (out on DVD and Blu-ray today), newly minted scream queen Jennifer Lawrence has nothing but compliments for the man who terrorized her on-screen.
"Max is a really great actor," she said—referring, of course, to one-time Hump Day Hottie Max Thieriot, who plays the role of the mysterious neighbor who may or may not be hiding some dark-and-dirty secrets in the basement beneath his house. In fact, according to Jennifer, her co-star's talents run so deep as to be a bit creepy: "He can just turn on and off, and it's very strange to watch the light in his eyes kind of get dark the instant [the director] calls 'Action.'"
You guys. YOU GUYS. Be honest, now: Is there anything, anything in the world, more exciting than a cover reveal for the next YA novel you'll be dying to add to your library? No! There is not! Unless, that is, the cover reveal was accompanied by something even more amazing...like, say, an offer from the author herself to serenade you on the internet with a personalized original song.
Because not only do we have the EXCLUSIVE hookup for you on the cover art for your new favorite title-to-be, but we've also got deets on how you can win some personal authorial attention that goes way beyond a signed book. And without further ado: Behold! It's the cover for Mindy Raf's "The Symptoms of My Insanity"!

Big, glossy photos offer up first looks at the cast, sets and locations long before you'll see them brought to life on the big screen come February 13.
So... what are you waiting for? Click past the jump for an EXCLUSIVE sneak peek at the cover!
If you didn't catch the dulcet tones of the a cappella comedy "Pitch Perfect" back during its theatrical run, you'll be glad to know that you've got a second chance to remedy your egregious error in judgment. (Seriously, you guys? We told you, like, a million times that this movie is the business. GEEZ.) The movie is out on Blu-ray and DVD today, ready to fill your ears with music, warm your heart with romance, and splatter your decolletage with a projectile burrito thrown from a moving bus. And to celebrate this delightful moment, we've got an EXCLUSIVE extended scene from the film!
In this clip, reigning a cappella champions—and the Bellas' arch-nemeses—the Treblemakers face off against an alumni group made up of 30-somethings who showed up looking for a rumble of the traditional, non-musical, beat-you-in-the-face-with-my-fists variety. But when the guys refuse to resort to violence, the tension escalates and things start to get...weird. (We don't want to spoil it for you, but let's just say that one of these dudes has a seriously questionable relationship with the Golden Girls.) Also: hilarious one-liners from our most favorite lady Rebel Wilson! Getting pitch slapped never hurt so good.
With a mere three months until the alien invasion, MTV News is doing its best to prepare you for all those parasitic Souls—think of our features as a survival guide of sorts. In addition to "The Host" trailer debut and interviews with Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons and Stephenie Meyer, we're rolling out an EXCLUSIVE chat with Diane Kruger, otherwise known as the nefarious Seeker.
Diane explained the Seeker's role in the post-apocalyptic society imagined in Stephenie's novel: "The Seekers in general, they're looking for the last pockets of human resistance. Practically the entire world has been taken over," she said. "My character is a little different. You come to understand that this Seeker, me, is a little off."
Something else Diane also considers a bit off? The Seeker's wardrobe, which is composed solely of eye-catching futuristic cuts in ivory.
A steampunk saga centering around three fierce femme fatales living and loving in London? Excuse us while we strap on our goggles and squeeze into our corsets so we too can join "The Friday Society."
In bookstores now, Adrienne Kress' latest novel follows a trio of girls, each employed by powerful men: Cora, a lab assistant, Michiko, a combat instruction assistant, and Nellie, a magician's assistant. The three meet serendipitously at a ball when a fellow party-goer is murdered, and it's up to them to uncover the truth about the dastardly crime while solving other misdeeds tied to the the mysterious death.
Sound like something that'll get your gears grinding? Well, just wait—because we have your EXCLUSIVE look at the book's action-packed trailer. And if there were any question as to whether Cora, Michiko and Nellie kick major butt, they should answered by this clip, in which a gang of nefarious gentlemen are no match for our fearless heroines.
