"The Twilight Saga" human Christian Serratos is a supporter of animal rights. You might have known that — I didn’t particularly — but now everyone will be aware of Christian's cause.
The young actress posted her ad for PETA on her Twitter account this afternoon, and her advocacy was a bit more revealing than we would have expected.
“I’d rather go naked than wear fur,” the ad proclaims in some very “Twilight”-esque font. The photo is set in the woods (a la Forks, Wash., obvs) and even has same color scheme “New Moon” has had in advertising (to see the full image, head over to Peta's site).

It's been an interesting year for "Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus. In February, the 16-year-old was sued for "racist" photos that depicted the teen star slanting her eyes, mocking Asians. She raised eyebrows again in August when she performed a pseudo-pole dance atop an ice cream cart at the Teen Choice Awards. Then there was that time she quit Twitter. It's hard to believe these crazy happenings didn't play a role in her latest dubious distinction: being voted "Worst Celebrity Influence of 2009" by AOL's JSYK.com (Just So You Know) website.
Miley beat out second place-finisher Britney Spears (who admittedly had a fairly respectable 2009) and Kanye "I'm going to let you finish" West, who came in third. In an interesting twist, Miley also walloped fellow Disney princess Vanessa Hudgens in the poll, even though the Wildcat has had not one, but two naked photo controversies of late. Funny what tween/teens will forgive, huh? Where is Chris Brown on this list?

Lindsay Lohan is a mess. This is something anyone who has some contact with entertainment media has known for years. In light of her most recent fiasco at Paris Fashion Week, UK newspaper The Sunday Times' Style magazine decided to write what seems to be an expose on just exactly how screwed up the life of Lindsay is.
"The first thing you notice is how tiny she is, then what a large bosom she has," The Times notes. "Her pale skin has been sprayed the colour of a ginger-snap biscuit and the lines etched into her freckled forehead make her look at least 10 years older than she is. She orders an iced water in a voice honed by too many cigarettes and a lifetime of late nights."

Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
Sure, sparks were flying between Russell Brand and Katy Perry at this year's VMA awards (and if you haven't already heard, we're totally taking credit for that), but what started out as a little on-stage flirtation seems to seriously be heating up.
Russell and pop tart Katy were most recently Spotted! smooching in L.A., with his arm protectively around her shoulders and her hand resting on his chest. It's far from their first PDA session though, the two attended a Fendi show in Paris earlier this month, where they were caught holding hands. What's next for the new romantic duo? We can't say, but if wedding bells are in the future, we better get front-row seats!
Click on the photo above to see the lovebirds in action and check out Lindsay Lohan's late court arrival below the jump.

Miley Cyrus stopped by Wisconsin's Kiss 103.7 radio yesterday to dish about deleting her Twitter account, Taylor Swift's VMA moment (you know, the one that Kanye interrupted... there's no chance you forgot about that, right?) and the controversy behind her pole dancing performance at the Teen Choice Awards.
The "Hannah Montana" star, who deleted her Twitter account last week, said she didn't say hasta la vista to the site because of "The Last Song" co-star Liam Hemsworth. So, why did she do it? Well, for one, she was over it.
"I was kind of just like over tweeting about what I was doing instead of actually doing it." Miley, who said she didn't use Twitter to promote herself or her albums, also realized that she wanted to keep things, like hanging out with the fam, a little more private.

Matt Damon has been turning heads as he gained nearly 30 lbs for his role in "The Informant," but he’s also making headlines for his non-profit work and charitable heart. Parade magazine is launching their 2009 America’s Giving Challenge, and Matt spoke to them about why giving back to others is so important to him.
"I’ve been very lucky in my life, but even the average American lives in a way that is almost unthinkable to a couple of billion people in the world," Matt told Parade. "There’s an unbelievable imbalance. I think it’s incumbent on all of us to do what we can to mitigate other people’s pain. There are so many ways you can help." The actor’s love for non-profit work came from his many experiences in third world countries and seeing the impact that he could have in these people’s lives. While visiting countries like Africa, India, and Haiti, he got to truly experience the severity of the living there. "You can read about extreme poverty and possible solutions, but it’s really powerful when you get to meet the people and shake their hands and listen to their stories."

Just because "Bones" production has been shut down thanks to an outbreak of swine flu, doesn't mean that the show's star, David Boreanaz has it ... necessarily.
EW.com reports that a spokesperson for the show is saying that David is out sick, but didn't specify if he's out sick with swine flu. “David is out with the flu and the show shut down today since he was in every scene,” says the rep. “We hope to resume production tomorrow.”

Jessica Simpson has been devastated ever since she witnessed a coyote snatch her 5-year-old maltipoo, Daisy, on Monday night outside her home in Los Angeles. As soon as the incident occurred, she alerted followers on Twitter. "My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR!" she tweeted. "We are searching. Hoping. Please help!"
Twitter isn’t the only outlet Simpson is using to help recover her dog. She is working with professional pet finders FindToto.org, who helped Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio find her missing dog. The company has issued an “amber alert” to help find Daisy, and thinks the dog may be injured. "We're kind of an amber alert for missing pets. We took the address of where Daisy went missing and we used that as a bullseye," Busch tells Us Weekly. "We called 1,000 neighbors in the surrounding area [Wednesday morning] and sent out a 30-second message with details about Daisy and her disappearance, and details on how to get in touch with Jessica's assistant.”

In the days after a Hennessy-emboldened Kanye West lurched onto the VMA stage and sullied Taylor Swift's Best Female Video acceptance speech on Sunday night, the country star's peers have chimed in with their thoughts on the hip-hop star's mic-snatching move. Close pal Miley Cyrus called the incident "disrespectful," while "iCarly" star Miranda Cosgrove labeled it "this insane thing."
On Wednesday, 20-year-old "The House Bunny" star Emma Stone spoke up and smacked 'Ye down. "Oh my god," she said when asked about the controversy. "Taylor's one of my really good friends. It's just ridiculous."
Speaking with MTV News while promoting her upcoming action-comedy, "Zombieland," Emma said she's chatted with her buddy since Sunday night and reported back that Taylor is "so awesome and so gracious and fine." Check out the video to see what Stone had to say and why she ended her thoughts with an exasperated, "Oh, Kanye!"
Nobody puts Patrick Swayze in a corner. The actor, who passed away yesterday due to a long struggle with pancreatic cancer, created some of the most beloved heartthrob characters from the late eighties and early nineties. Before Tyler Gage tried his luck at stepping up, there was Johnny Castle. Before Edward Cullen became the sex symbol for life after death, there was Sam Wheat.
In honor of Swayze, Hollywood Crush has decided to take a look back at two of Patrick’s most beloved roles.
Johnny Castle:
Sure Jennifer Grey was fantastic as Baby, but without Patrick as the brooding, sexy resort dance instructor Johnny Castle, “Dirty Dancing” would just have been another coming-of-age singing and dancing flick from the eighties. It sure wasn’t the first time a good girl fell in love with a bad boy, but the chemistry between Jennifer and Patrick made “Dirty Dancing” something special; something so special it spawned a sequel (starring the wonderful Diego Luna), a Broadway show and the title of a Fall Out Boy song. But somehow, nothing ever has or ever will come close to Swayze stating, “Nobody puts Baby in a corner.”
