This news is making our dreary Thursday even darker. Word on the street is that much like their "Vampire Diaries" personas, Damon and Elena, Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev are no longer dating.
Sources tell Us Weekly that the twosome are "consummate professionals" despite the split. The source adds that they "will continue to work together and remain best friends, which is where the relationship started."
The season finale of the "Vampire Diaries" airs next week, and the show was recently picked up for a fifth season. So, if the report is true, despite the break-up, fans can remain calm that all will be fine on set between the former couple when they start shooting season five later this summer.
FROM MTV NEWS: Love actually is all around for actress Keira Knightley: Over the weekend, the 28-year-old " Anna Karenina" star tied the knot with rocker boyfriend James Righton.
Keira and the Klaxons singer/keyboardist married in a small, 30-minute ceremony surrounded by friends and family in Mazan, France. The couple had been engaged since May of last year.

Here's some lovely Glee-ful news (which is also such good news that you'll forgive us immediately for making that terrible pun, okay?): Cory Monteith, star of the Fox song-and-dance series, is officially out of rehab and doing fine!
According to a report from People, Cory and girlfriend Lea Michele were spotted together at Los Angeles International Airport, marking the conclusion of his latest stint in treatment for substance addiction. Both stars tweeted out words of thanks and happiness on Friday.
FROM MTV ACT: Who run the world? Beyoncé, apparently! The songstress is teaming with actress Salma Hayek Pinault and Gucci creative director Frida Giannini to create the philanthropic Chime For Change.
More information is being released about the movement on March 12, but for now we can tell you Chime for Change is dedicated to empowering girls and women through education, health and justice. Sounds like the perfect venue for Beyonce's girl power 'tude!

Our daily dose of Hollywood gossip might have dwindled down to nearly nothing over the holidays, but that didn't stop our favorite stars from popping up on New Year's Eve to wish their friends and fans a happy and prosperous 2013! Across the country and around the world, various celebs took to Twitter with news of their New Year's plans—or got caught by photographers as they bid a private goodbye to 2012. Where were Hollywood's finest when the ball dropped on Monday night?
Beachy celebrations might just be the first major trend of the new year, with a lot of celebs choosing to spend December 31 in more tropical climes. Channing Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum watched fireworks in St. Barts, while Lea Michele and Cory Monteith both tweeted pics of soft sand and palm trees from an undisclosed location.
Can it be? Is Christmas really over? Though the calendar reads "December 26," you don't need to pack up the lights and put the figgy pudding on ice just yet. After all, we have yet to check in with Hollywood's hottest to see how they spent the holidays! From volunteering to trimming the tree to Santa Claus role-playing (yes, you read that right), our favorite stars embraced the Christmas spirit with rosy cheeks and hearts full of love. So pour yourself another helping of eggnog and check out our run-down (or else you might just find a marauding band of reindeer at your door...) Merry Christmas!
There are few things that get our bells ringing quite like celebrating the season with friends, and that's just what "High School Musical" co-stars Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale did. Ashley took to Instagram to share a pic of the Disney duo decking the halls on Christmas Eve. "Santa's Lil helpers. Decorating with @vanessahudgens and Austin #christmas #besties," she wrote. We're guessing there weren't many Troy Bolton ornaments to be found...
There are still 22 shopping days left until Christmas, but Chris Colfer's wish list is already being fulfilled. The "Glee" star took to Twitter today (along with, well, everyone else) to herald the birth of Prince William and Duchess Kate's first born!
That's right, the royal couple is expecting (we already mapped out five lessons he/she will need to glean from the movies), and if Chris continues to stay on Santa's good side, it seems more amazing things are yet to come.
Are you as intrigued as Chris is by the impending birth of a little prince or princess? Tell us in the comments and on Twitter!
Those regal royals across the pond certainly didn't waste any time creating an heir to the throne: the whole internet is abuzz today with the news that Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (nee Middleton) are expecting their first child. Hooray!
And while there's plenty of speculation about the newest member of the royal family—and whether he or she will be lucky enough to inherit the famous Middleton derriere instead of the infamous ears of the Prince of Wales—we happen to believe that education is the most important matter up for discussion. And not just the usual schooling, either! Because if Hollywood's depictions of palace life are any indication, this kid is gonna need a very particular set of skills. So, in preparation for that moment when our pals Kate and Wills call us up for child-rearing advice, we've put together this easy list of the top five things their progeny ought to master from the outset!
Hollywood got an airshow of intergalactic proportions today as the space shuttle Endeavour embarked upon an aerial tour of California, before finally landing at LAX. Celebs from "Glee" actor Kevin McHale to Jenna Dewan-Tatum to Elizabeth Banks tweeted their excitement over spotting the shuttle, which was strapped to the back of a 747 jet. But only "Vampire Diaries" executive producer Kevin Williamson went there.
Obviously, we would expect nothing less from the man who's brought us some of the most fraught love triangles in television history. Humping is something he has to keep top of mind, right?
Tech types were glued to their computer screens this afternoon as Apple presented its line of updated products, including the iPhone 5, which boasts a slimmer profile and larger screen. But not everyone in Hollywood was ready to pre-order. Take our one-time Girl Crush Olivia Wilde, for example. She took to Twitter to demand a few more applications to (literally) sweeten the deal.
Unlike Olivia, I have plenty of, um, cushion, so that's a moot point for me, but I would definitely appreciate a gadget that provides an unlimited supply of dark chocolate. Come to think of it, that'd probably make my cushion extra cushiony. Excuse me while I head to the Apple store to stand in line...
